what's with Michelle Wie??
what is wrong with this girl, seriously?? I was just watching the golf channel and heard she is trying again to make her first cut in a men's PGA tourny... I give the girl an A for effort but maybe lets get real. She can't even beat the girls, has she even had an LPGA win yet? Why try a men's tourny??
I understand her ulimate goal is to play with the men, but maybe there should be a few smaller goals in there somewhere, that aid in obtaining her ultimate goal? that's just me, i dunno...

wise words :)
she isnt even able to shoot par... she should just chuck golf and take up tennis or something
when i watched her take 9 at the 8th i actually flet embarrassed for her
but i strongly beleive that she will continue to be stupid and play in mens events

Yeah, but at least she was REALLY CLOSE to making the cut this time.....
-
Hell I can shoot 80 on that course.
And I know I"ll never make a PGA cut, or NW or LPGA or CT or Hooters cut, or any kind of cut.
-
was she close to making the cut this time?? good for her i guess? but it just goes to show if you can't hang with the boys, go play in the LPGA... but oh wait! she's tried that too.
I'm quite confident she'll continue being stupid as well!

yea and she passed the chance by to play in the final lpga major of the year to play in this event
i think her parents are to blame

Most of the SHAME falls on the PGA for allowing it. It's all about TV ratings. They have so little faith in their own players that they stoop to a Freak Show. I think Wie's handlers are as bad as Brittany's. The same end result is likely. Flash and Crash.

Wow, you may have something. Maybe Michelle Wie's parents did manage Brittney Spears.
-
really? I did not know that, I can't believe she'd pass up playing in the ladies final major. Seeing as clearly that's the 'league' she belongs in. I heard she shot a +9 and its her 5th straight missed cut in a PGA event. Take a hint girl!!
I have heard a lot of negative things about her parents too, so I wouldn't doubt it. I doubt they have anything to do with Brittney, but its a typical example of what happens when parents are too involved in their childs fame. There's so many of them; Spears's obviously, Lohan's, and now the Wie's can get added as well.

actually its her 8th missed cut in a row
yep her parents should take a step back and she might be able to get some form back
cause she was miles better when he was 14 than she is just now

Frank NObilo has it right. She needs to go and start at the beginning. Play some minitour stuff, work her way onto the LPGA, learn how to win again at the pro level because she's never done that.
Start fresh. And look at video of herself from 2003, because her current swing is too straight legged and bent over, and her left wrist is way bent forward at the top instead of flat, and her tempo is too fast in the transition now.
She is way inconsistent. Lots of people can hit great shots and horrible shots in a round. She's not steady enough to have the reputation she has. She needs to learn to play four rounds without a 9 in them.

yea exactly Dave
plus she needs to sort out the mental side of her game aswell
because her head must be pretty messed up after all the missed cuts
and her parents pressuring her to achieve unrealistic goals

I to do not understand the decision to miss the last major of the respected tour she plays on, to try and play on the PGA tour. I agree with Creamer and Annika, stick with playing the lpga and maybe try to win every once and a while.
P.S. Don't forget to sign your scorecard

But David Leadbetter says all of us who say she swings it worse now have no idea what we're talking about. David who? Oh, that's right, the guy who coaches her says the rest of the world doesn't know what they're talking about, her swing is way beter than a few years ago when she got signed by Nike for millions of dollars a year. I think her swing deterioration can be put fairly and squarely on the shoulders of that South African guru (gitt) who has wrecked more careers than the single one he enhanced (Faldo).
As for her inability to win a single professional tournament on any tour, that speaks for itself. She was just a show pony who got heaps of attention as a kid because she could hit it 300 and was a girl. As has been painfully demonstrated, you need more than the ocassional 300 yard drive to cut it in the pro ranks. I honestly think that, even at such a tender age, she is fast approaching the point of no return. If she doesn't turn things around fast she will be a basket case, ala Baker-Finch or Duval. But the shame is that with the proper guidance and advice, she could have been something on the LPGA tour. But her parents obviously put fast money ahead of proper player development so they now have a multi millionaire chopper who is washed up at 19.

I think Michelle's sponsors are going to abandon her eventually for all of this non-sense!
Things I love about her:
1) her looks
2) her outfits
3) her height (is that looks?)
4) her interviewing skills (JUST KIDDING)
Things I dislike about her:
1) her golf skills
2) her driving the ball further than me
3) her ettiquette
4) firing more caddies than courses I've played
Well that's my $0.02

Wie driving the ball 300 yards is a myth. Look at her driving stats. I don't know where this got started but it's not remotely true. I watched her in 2005 at the mens Public Links for several holes and she was hitting it maybe 270-280. This was when she was playing well.

Maybe she had an "internet driving distance"......OK now, Michelle, it's time to come clean. What IS your screen name here on GR, and do you play blades or cavity backs, hybrids or a 3 iron?

Alot of people feel this way, however, golf is not Michelle Wie's true calling. Her golf has deteriorated as she practices for her next sports career. I probably shouldn't let the cat out of the bag, but with Nike's help, Michelle is about to sign with an NFL team.

You need to get out more. She is not attractive in the remotest. I would go so far as to say she is an outright hound.

I agree. Gulbis and Creamer are definite hotties, and even their last names sound vaguely suggestive.....
Still, I find the "big and beautiful ladies" like Laura Davies and Meg Mallon a real turn on........
Give Laura a couple of 5ths of Jim Beam and she becomes an ANIMAL.......
