Back in that era, smoking was very common. I remember feeling almost a little embarassed when asked by some of the neighbor kids why my dad DIDN'T smoke. How times change......

Seeing pictures of Palmer, and Hogan smoking make me want to pick it up. They just make it look cool.:thumbsup:

besides the obvious health concerns associated with smoking, I've stayed away from the habit. But AP sure makes it look cool!!

This one is my favorite smoking pic.

I'm convinced. Even though I risk lung cancer, emphysema, coronary heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, bladder cancer, stroke, and a host of other problems, I am going to take up smoking because I have now seen pictures of Arnold Palmer smoking 40+ years ago. Funny, though.....I haven't seen Arnold smoking recently......
