Hello knuckleheads

Now that I'm half in the ground, I inherited a beach house at Marina di Cottone outside of Catania. I may just go there permanently to finish up, but I'm afraid that Fidel would be stuck in Sicily alone if I split before he does. Fidel comes first. He's the best friend that I've ever had.

And a not that old Lancia came with the beach house, too. Bastards. No Ferrari or Maserati. No boat for cruising the Fiumefreddo.

I finally discovered that my incomprehensible Italian dialect isn't Italian at all. There really is a discreet, old Sicilian language, but it's verbal, not really written. And some of the people outside of Catania actually still speak it. I can understand them more than I expected.

I haven't played any golf, but I was invited to play Il Picciolo. I think that I may be just about done with golf. It was a gas, though.

My dog lives with my parents as we have a unit and a cat, and a 50 pound staffy cross that attacks cats on sight just wouldn't work, but he is still my best and most loyal friend.
