I'm going to be in West Palm Beach next week because I want to be part of a really traditional American Thanksgiving. And if I stay home, I always get stuck with the cooking. What am I a f.ucking professional chef or something? Sure, make the Italian guy cook. Why can't they just let me drink and explain while they do it. Like my accent will make the food taste better.
Even if I was a pro chef, I wouldn't work holidays when there are Mexicans available that don't know what Thanksgiving is.
Anyways, all that aside, what's the drive time from Florida to North Carolina?
-
We'll be in North Carolina next week, but not for golf. We're visiting our daughter in NYC early in the week, then spending the last half of the week in Cary, NC, with our son and his wife. He's not a golfer, so no plans to hit the links. The weather sounds rather rainy for next week in both locations, according to the reports.
Good luck.

Lobwood, I probably have a better chance of playing paintball than golfing in NC.
Zo, I'll be in Florida next week as well. Naples then Key West then Naples.

What? Maui can't have a north shore?
-
HB, Send me a PM if you're passing through Marathon. There's a par 3 goat track there. I think the longest hole is 110 or so. The greens are like fairways, but it's good practice.

Marathon Key?
We're taking a boat from Marco to Key West.
-
Yeah. That sounds like a fun trip. What type of boat?

I'm sure it's a huge ferry (<-- insert joke). It runs daily from Marco and Ft. Meyers to Key West. A lot of people do it as a day trip but we're going to stay for a couple days. Really, I'm just looking forward to hanging with the wife sans baby.
-
That's a cool way to get to Key Wast. Never knew they had those daily trips. Looks like it's only about 3 hours from Marco to KW. That's got to be 3-4 hours shorter than driving.

You're really lucky feeling that way. Great opportunity to reconnect as before the baby. It would be natural to get all romantic and stuff. But my suggestion would be to get the bad, naughty, shameful HB out in front. Don't get lost in femaleness. Break a few off as nasty as you can. Be a wild animal. And make her watch football. They need to be told what to do.
Signed,

What do you think I'm talking about?
Koolcat, it's about 3.5 hours pier to pier.
