Big Break III update...spoilers included

Jan, many people's pick to win, went down last night.

For those who watched, why was she hitting a 7 wood when everybody else was hitting irons on the final challenge? Is that common? She was consistently short and just kept hitting the same club, not adjusting.

If I'm not mistaken, she was saying she had a problem that she had been working out for the past 2 years where in her swing her head would move back during the downswing, thus making her hit the shot fat...I might be thinking of when she was playing an iron from one of the distances but it seems that might have been the same problem with the 7 wood. And on club choice, maybe she felt comfortable with the 7 wood, seeing as the wind was a factor. I've played all 3 of the Kingsmill courses many times and the wind can be brutal sometimes and definitely can hurt you.

She used a wood? That's funny, she didn't come across as the type of gal who is interested in "wood", if ya know what I mean.:-)
