    What are "refurbished" golf balls?
You see them on ebay all the time..refurbished golf balls made like new! I am guessing that means they are washed, nothing more...is that all there is to it?

Nope they aren't just washed. Refurbished balls are newly painted and reprinted used golf balls. 'Touched up' if you will.

I think WhoElse is right. I think refurbs are touched up and recycled just washed.

they aren't just washed. what Whoelse said is correct. if they were just washed they'd be classed as lake balls...

I would not feel as though I knew what I was really getting with them. Could the company that re-furbishes them not just imprint Pro V on a lesser ball? No way would I play with these. I would rather pick them up from my local shop as AAA experienced balls if I wanted to save a little dough.
