WOW!!! you are really going out on a limb with that pick! lol.......I'm picking Ernie, hoping it's Sergio, but it will probably be some unknown rookie again...It will NOT be Duval ;-)

Tiger plays extremely well at St.Andrews, so I'm going with him

I like Jim Furyk if wind conditions are not extreme. He is playing Great right now and finally back from the wrist ingery and is a former US Open Champion who likes to move the ball both direstions which can be very helpful with these unjulating greens.

Justin Leonard if its really windy He grew up in texas playing in the wind has a low trajectory and is great with wedge play. Also is a former British Open Champ.

Rooting for Mickelson,Furyk,Couples,Mariuana and Daly in that order.

    Who?...
Whoever has the lowest score after 4 days. Specifically? I prefer a known to an unknown, so I pick Monty. Kind of touchy like me, but still has a very smooth swing. He did qualify didn't he? Hope so.

I think that it's going to be Furyk or Tiger but I want Sergio to win.

It won't be Ernie or Fat Phil...there at the Barclay's Scottish Open. Where do you think Tiger is? He's Probably playing the course right now. While Ernie and Mickelson are Jacking around, No pun intended.

    Sergio can't putt

I think this will be the place we see the Vijay of last year and he will pull it off. I see him golfing four consistant rounds... nothing real low but enough to win.

Vijay likes that high cut shot though and that could be trouble should the wind really kick up, just a thought . I too am wondering what happened with last years Vijay and when he will show up.

Pretty good, I've shot a couple of average scores but want to go under par soon, I'm playing in a few big tournaments soon.

I would like to se Chris DiMarco win it! It will probably be somebody nobody has ever heard of.

Dimarco plays that High cut...and that will hurt him when he has that 30 mph wind in his face.

but who knows...these guys can play, that's why they are pros.

I'll go out on a limb and say Luke Donald. No real reason why except for the fact he is damn good.

Tiger sounds like the easy pick, but I would keep my eyes open for Darren Clark...shouldn't be hard to find him with the way he's been dressing lately.

Obviously, Tiger has to be a strong consideration, but I like a grinder like Furyk, and I'd also consider some shorter, straighter hitters like Toms and (this is going out on a limb) Fred3.....I mean Fred Funk.

I didn't really consider toms but he is also a good pick and off the tee he is not as short as he used to be.He has gained about 20 yards the last couple of years. Still I like furyk as well unless the wind becomes rediculous then I go with leonard.

    Sergio can't putt[/QUOTE]

Garcia only took 24 putts in a closing 65 when he won the Booz Allen recently. Apparently had some putting tip from Adam Scott that set him right.

I wish my putting was as bad as that.

well sure he had a good day

I've had 26 putts in a round but it doesn't make me a good putter.

lets just say, he is a streaky putter

Just had a quick check and apparently he has won as many tour events in the US as Faldo, Ballesteros and Olazabal - and he's only 25.

Not bad for someone who can't putt! Imagine if he could...

. . . sorry to disagree, but St Andrews favours the big hitters - Woods, Daly et cetera - takes those fairways bunkers out of the play. although, like you, i'd love to see Furyk win. Can't go past Woods or Ernie, although here's a dark horse, Darren Clarke. Big hitter, good putter, plenty of st andrews experience - just a pity about the check pants and fat ass.
