What is a Uniflex shaft?
I'm looking to buy a Callaway fairway wood and I have two choises. Uniflex steel, or graphite R, S, or XS... I'm not worried about what is better. All I want to know is what in the world is uniflex? Is it firm, regular, inbetween with a variable bend point due to chosen by swing speed...? What is it?
Any input will help.

While I am not an expert by any means, I had uniflex shafts in my callaway irons before I upgraded to rifle flighted in my new ftx set. The uniflex shafts played too soft for my taste, probably a regular flex. If it helps any a smooth 7 iron is 165 for me.

Uniflex was designed to fit the widest range of golfers possible. Ideal for golfers with a swing speed of 75 to 95 mph. They are a light weighted shaft with mid kickpoint design.
I have them on my Callaway woods and irons and like them. I swing harder than 95 mph.

I have them in my X-18's and they play quite stiff. I dont notice any differance stiffness wise compared to the Dynalite gold S300's I had in my Titleists.

I have one in a Steel Head 3w and think it is a fantastic shaft. I dont know exactly what my 3w club head speed is but average about 85-92 with a 5/6 iron. I hit the club with a mid flight and very good distance, it is also very long & straight. I am not sure how they make it work for so many flexes but I am very happy with it.

The variable bend point was the story that someone gave me the first time I asked about it. I'm not sure that is possible, so I thought I'd post my question.
