You're the one jacking off over Tigers demise. How many times have you jacked off watching reruns of his 3 putt?

Right on Kiwi. It's one thing to dislike a player but to wish him bad luck is just plane pathetic. Tiger has made mistakes and he's paid for them and still is paying for them. It's bad enough that the press feasts on Tiger's indiscetions. I always wondered what drives people to hate someone that's succeeded more than they have. Members of the tour seem to like Tiger. He's a decent guy who's made mistakes and now everyone wants to jump on the bandwagon and join in the lynching. These are the same people who always wanted to be a part of the "in" crowd. They can only decide who they like based on who's popular and can never think for themselves. I've liked Tiger since he won his first amateur. He brings an excitement to the game that hasn't been seen since Arnold Palmer. Check out the crowds that were following Tiger today. They were huge. Losers will say that these people are just mindless Tiger followers. The truth is that we can see a guy that wanted to be the best since he was a kid and he did exactly what he set out to do. Do I like what he did to end his marriage? No, I don't. However, I've been a complete ass in the past myself and have had to pay for it. Thank God I didn't have a bunch of fake friends who decided to leave me when things got bad. I want Tiger to succeed. The last thing we need is another victory by Angel Cabrerra, which it appears is exactly what is going to happen.

Geez I hope not! You don't think our boy McIlroy can do it? I really hope he hangs in there and pulls it off. He is such an enjoyable player to watch. He has a great swing and a great temperament and seems to know when to go for it and when to play it safe. He has played the best consistently over the first 3 rounds. The only reason he doesn't have a greater lead is that he hasn't made as many putts in rounds 2 & 3 as he made in the 1st round. I hope he can hold it together tomorrow and if he doesn't win I hope it's because somebody else comes through with a great round and not because he collapses.

As for Tiger, I agree with your general sentiments. Even though I hold him in pretty low regard these days you still have to acknowledge his greatness and previous achievements. His round on Friday was a pleasure to watch and a reminder how great he can be. I've changed my mind about him. He obviously won't win this tournament but I think he can definitely come back and win more majors.

If a player is tied with other players, say, at -10 then they list the player first that has the highest number of holes remaining. They aren't doing it that way just to showcase Tiger.

Ok I was wrong on this. Or was I? I was watching on Saturday when Jason Day dropped back to the field at -8 and although he was equal with Cabrera and a couple of others he was shown below them on the leader board. They had all completed their round at that point so I assumed it was because the others (Cabrera etc) had shot a better score on Saturday.

Maybe I'm wrong on this but how else do they decide the playing order if several players are tied?

Weren't the 2 Aussies playing behind wood? Actually tv STILL had wood listed on top while they (Aussies) were still playing and wood was done!

I always thought it was first in. So on Saturday it doesn't mean as much as it does on sunday. 1st in tied means someone charged up the board and usually posted a good score.

You are correct. First in is top of the list if players are tied.
