Inspired by the brilliant work of FD and KP, here is my contribution to the song parody category of Qtard bashing...

You got no balls Q-Tong
(To the tune of "You Shook Me All Night Long" by Acca Dacca)

He was a hook machine, with a crappy swing
He was the worst damn golfer that I ever seen
With his slanted eyes, he walked off after five
Walked out on his guest and left them all high and dry
Dave went to lengths to get there, I guess Q didn't care, they looked for him at the turn but he wasn't there
'Cause his irons were shankin'
His game was tankin'
His breath was stankin'
What a wanker

And you, got no balls Q-Tong
Yeah you, got no balls Q-Tong

Like a total clown, he couldn't finsh the round
On the sixth tee box, he was nowhere to be found
He was a terrible sport, he had to abort
It was a display of bad taste worse than Pottsy's shorts
He was makin' doubles or worse, he'd drop his irons then he'd curse
He know he couldn't win, so he left and played some skins
He was totally hackin'
His game was lackin'
He kept three-jackin'
It sent him packin'

And you, got no balls QTong
Yeah you, got no balls Q-Tong

Qinqin solo then repeat chorus.
Here's my first Qtong rap song. Taken from a section of the greatest rap song of all time "Rapper's Delight".

have you ever went over to a friend's course to golf
and the host just aint no good
i mean the greens are soggy the traps are mushy
and Tong won't finish like he could
so you try to play it off like you think you can
by sayin he just young
and then Pottsy says man he aint being polite
he aint finished uh uh thats wrong
so Tong's heart starts pumpin and he thinks of a lie
and he say that he already played
and Dave says man there's plenty of golf
and I'll sit on you till you've stayed
while the stinky course is steamin your mind starts to dreamin
of the moment that it's time to leave
and then you look at your score and your playin's slowly rottin
into a score that amounts to 43
oh so you say that's it i got to leave this place
i dont care about this dumb ass chink
im just sittin here makin myself nauseous
with this ugly score that stinks
so you bust off the course while its still hot
still sick from the game you played
and then you run to the store for quick relief
from a bottle of kaopectate
and then you call Qtong two weeks later
to see where he has been
and he says i understand about being rude
but I just had to go get me some skins

Home Slicer, you are a musical genius. A Qtong walkoff song for the ages. FD and Kiwi came up with superb efforts, but as FD said you took it to another level. Like Yaz I'm not a fan of Brian the Butcher, but reading your post I could hear his strangling vocals jumping right out of the screen. Even if you didn't tell us what song it was, I would have picked it up by the second line. It might be a case of, like they always bang on about on Idol, song choice, but whatever it was that inspired that post, it will go down as a GR monument.

Sooner, I dfeinitely things like artistic ability is a natural talent, and probably genetic. SWMBO is very artistic and could sell her paintings if she had a mind to, and pur first daughter has already shown ability and interest in art. Me on the other hand, couldn't draw a stick figure in proportion, so she gets it form her mothers side. A better example would be dancing. As Eddie Murphy succinctly pointed out in Raw, white boys can't dance. But nearly any brother can get up on the floor and dance up a storm with no rehearsals. Most of the elite athletes in the world can trace athletic ability through the family tree. Sooner, I think you are too wrapped up in your training and see things only from a nurture side, but nature and genes play a part in more than just pure physical dimensions or skin colour.

People will see what they want to see as it fits into their agenda or beliefs. Rarely do you find a person who is truly open to new ideas, especially if those ideas are a threat to the way they see the world. To someone who thinks homosexuality is wrong both personally and religiously, that person is going to be biased on how they view evidence and theory. If you argue that someone is gay at birth, they will ask you to "prove it". Of course, their definitioin of proof will be whatever they think is unproveable. They choose this route because they know it's basically impossible to prove anything unless you both agree on what evidence constitutes proof. In the U.S., courts of law base proof on evidence and witnesses. They then make a decision based on the evidence and testimony delivered by both sides. In other words, the side that makes the best arguement coupled with evidence tends to win. If all one side says over and over is "they still don't have absolute proof!" they tend to lose by a landslide. We don't need absolute proof to make a determination, all we need to do is present a good case for it.

The 'prove they are gay at birth' argument really is illogical as human beings do not reach sexual maturity until puberty or just before. So all babies at birth are neither heterosexual nor homosexual, they just aren't sexual at all. The only logical argument Sooner could present would be to say that as the overwhelming majority of males born grow to become heterosexuals, it is reasonable to say that heterosexaulity is a common trait among human males, therefore it is unlikely that a male will grow to become a faggot. But that doesn't take into account the proof that DNA is responsible for so many other things that make us who we are, including hair/skin colour, height, body type etc. Even though there may never be definitive 'scientific' proof one way or the other, to my mind the theory that some guys are born gay is more feasible than Sooner'stheory that homosexuality is purely a choice (which goes against natural instinct), or Yaz's opinion that homosexuality is a disease that can be cured in church.

There are many deviations from "natural instinct". Wanting to hump sheep, for example, or little children. Being "asexual", not wanting it at all from anyone, not even the reliable Rosie Palm.

But are we suggesting now that deviations from natural instinct are themselves natural, a result of some fact of nature that affects only a few, and a fact about ourselves that we do not choose? You are perilously close to offering a DNA defense in court against pederasty or bestiality charges. Or should those things be legal, because the defendant "cannot help it, he was born that way"?

discuss. :-)

There you go with your extremism again. Stick to the subject. We're talking about homosexuality with two consenting adults. We're not talking about beastiality or molestation. You might as well throw in rapists and people that strap TNT to their chest and blow people up.

I think the argument is that being attracted to other men is the natural instinct for a gay man. It's legal because it's two consenting adults. To say that they simply weighed the alternatives and chose to be gay doesn't make much sense, seeing that the choice to be gay would bring about more problems than the alternative.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who cannot help being thieves, or thugs, or armed robbers, but that is not a defence against criminal capacity. The argument here has been about homosexual tendencies, not the legality of it. In any case, it is quite legal for consenting adult freaks to partake in debauched sex with other adult freaks. The things you talk of are not the same thing. They are acts of violence on unconsenting victims, and therefore are illegal and just plain wrong no matter how 'natural' the act is to the perp. When it comes to the things you speak of, my stance has always been simple and uncomplicated. For those who are born that way but don't act upon their impulses we should show sympathy and even a degree of tolerance in that they are allowed to live out their pathetic lives as long as they don't act on their sick impulses, or breed. But to those who act on those depraved, fukt up impulses, we should come down on them with a wrath greater than the hand of god, and show absolutely no mercy when dealing with them. Sex offenders of any type should be dealt with with nothing short of extreme prejiduce.

Dave, you've got to quit calling yourself old. I know several guys in their 60's and even 70's who still shoot in the low 70's and walk the course. You are not old by any means. Middle aged but not old.

When you dressed in black for the Q-tong crucification match, it was cool and it was simply your DNA. No forced effort, you were just you being you. It's obvious.
As usual you are wrong. I had tons of albums growing up and listened to the whole thing. I'm just comfortable enough in my own skin to admit that I liked the songs that were popular. You have a need to appear "cool" which is really pathetic at your age.
It's ok. You want to listen to the same songs and eat the same food every day? More for the rest of us who aren't as easily pacified!

You'd be pacified if you had a match with me on the golf course. I like all kinds of music including seldom played songs as well as top 40. I simply have the balls to admit that I like some mainstream songs. Meanwhile, you're still struggling to fit in......to your pants!!!!! a hahahahahahahaha aaaaaa hahahahahah aahaahahah hhhhahahahahahahahahahahh!!!!

Nah. I'd probably just say "good game" as you're a better golfer than I am. Besides, it's only golf after all. My value as a person isn't based on my score. Everyone has their strengths. Yours is golf, mine is having taste in everything else. So there's a balance. Kind of.

My golf game being better than yours is a fact that I've offered to prove. Your taste is simply your misguided opinion. You keep telling yourself there's value in that.

Why do you feel the need to prove a fact that I have granted to you? Are you incapable of being gracious in my assertion that you are better than me at this endeavor? Are you so insecure that you must prove it even though it is conceded?

Tell you what, trim your mullet, pop the Greatest Hits tape (doesn't matter the band, you have them all) out of the player in your primer Camaro and take a good long look at yourself.

Why would I need to pop the greatest hits tape out of the player? Everything made sense except for that part. You need to think out your flames a little better. Must be the education ending in 8th grade. Nice try Buckethead.

a 1975-ish Camaro SS passed me today in a parking lot. Not pure, but no primer. That 396 big block sure sounded sweet. If I had one like that and it had primer on it, I'd still drive it. And I'd park it next to my 911.

A primer Camaro... I'd take one.

A guy I knew in college had a 68 Camero and to this day it's the most powerful and fastest off the line I've ever experienced. You could hear the thing from blocks away.

Had a 1969 RS/SS Camaro back in the day. 350 with 194 heads, that thing was fun and fast as hell. Glad I don't have it any more since it used to burn gas like no tomorrow. My "dream" car at this point is a '67 Chevelle convertible.

I'm at the point where I consider you to be the last likable person in this entire forum.

My favorite is the 1966 Mustang Convertible. I had a golfing buddy who had a 60's Chevelle but it wasn't a convertible. Completely restored.

With that, I am gone for the weekend. I know you will all miss me. So.....as they'd say in France.....arrovwayer!

I had a 74 Camaro in High School, I should have put a hitch on that thing and tow a fuel tank. I could actually almost see the gas needle moving as I drove. White leather intetior...chicks digged it only after I beat some shmuck drag racing. The Motorcycle cop that would try to catch us screwing around burning rubber is now retired and is a really good friend of mine. Its a small world.

Reading back through threads like this really highlights what we are losing. Some epic threads with some great contributors over the years. Such a damn shame that we will soon lose all this.

In the Rugby forum that I frequent they had a forum overhaul in January and although the forum is alive and well the slate was wiped clean and everyone started afresh from post #1. All the classics were gone. A bit like GR continuing but wiping the board clean and starting afresh losing all the classics like the Matchplay Strategies thread etc

Maybe just being kicked out altogether is for the best?

Can't it be archived somehow? I guess the GR band of brothers will still be out there posting the same old stuff. All things have to reinvent to survive I guess.

Well I presume you know that for the past year new members haven't been able to subscribe. Frustrated with this a few of us joined Mtbr.com and created a GR thread in the off topic forum. Not long after that many members found themselves unable to login to GR. It seems that if you have set your computer up to remember your password and auto login you are Ok but if you logout or clear your browsing history/cookies and need to login manually you are screwed. It seems Francis wants to shut this place down once and for all. There are just a few of us remaining that can still login. Welcome to the post apocalypse GR, a grim, dark world where only a few survivors remain.
