    Wear on wedges?
Will common wear on wedges affect play much? I was going to buy a used Vokey and it just has regular wear on it. Will it limit some of the spin?

As long as the grooves are still deap and in good shape it should be good. However if there are dings in the face it may scuff the ball and give it a funny spin. But normal face wear should not do this.

Eh? Grooves do aid in the spin. Clean grooves that are reasonably sharp are important to add to the loft and downstroke to give proper spin.

Yeah grooves affect spin enormously, why would you think they wouldnt, its common sense.

lol i have a 60° vokey raw wedge that is so worn off it feels i get topspin off it.
I would say that if the grooves are visible it should work fine.
