ben hogan irons

just got a new set of bh-5 offset irons has any body ever played with then? do you like them?

Great clubs. These were the first and I suppose only cast clubs from the Ben Hogan line. Apparently these were released soon after Callaway's acquisition of TopFlite/Ben Hogan as the dimensions are almost exactly that of Callaway's best selling irons...the X-14. Only better looking and with some special touches like the groove at the back edge of the topline which makes it look thinner at address, but keeps the perimeter weighting. The BH-5 related to the X-14 Pro Series in head size, loft, lie, length, etc. and the BH-5 Offset to the standard X-14. I also like the Ben Hogan Apex steel shafts better than the Cally Constant Weight Uniflex on my set of X-14s. I may still pick up a set.
