It got dark and we didnt really get to finish... the weather was 75 and sunny so the course was jammed and with all the people out there 5.5 hours wasnt enough.

Omen was going to hit one of my balls off his yellow brush tee and then snapped pic of me retrieving my ball. Yeah that is the story.

I had a par and a birdie........so the day was a success for me.

Not to spread rumors but SITS had to come back to my cart after 12 holes with Omen...something about inappropriate touching and showing him his SPECIAL hybrid stick. But I dont know nothing...nothing I tell you.

I would guess Omen was well underway to another strong 93 showing.

Looked like you had a good time, thanks for the pics guys.

Also, the dimple pattern of that Nike dosn't look like any of the ONE line. Don't tell me that's a PWR Soft or something. Coupled with a brush tee, you should have been forced to play from the reds.

    hey he liked my hybrid...

hey lyle when are you going to ask your husband to let you come play with us?

    I shot a 92 this time... BIOTCH...

    Man,

I thought you had more game than that.

Perhaps you should invest in an all Hi-bore setup, and shave those strokes off like the hair on Lyles wifes back.

Naw it is the Nike Ignite.......hey with my crappy game I am going for all the help I can get short of divine intervention.

    Brock
we made him play from the white tees so he couldnt use the driver....LOL

I shot a 114.....not sure what Omen shot as he kept hiding his card from me.

    Brock
seriously though......i would like to thank Omen and SITS for the afternoon of golf. Though I am a high (nosebleed high) handicap player they never made me feel like it with good laughs and encouragement. I look forward to another outing where maybe I can make it around with more than 2 out of 12 balls left in my bag....LOL

Thanks again fellas and if any of you others are ever in town then lets set something up...

Omen and Brock are good guys. Trash talk is the best part of their golf games. Seriously though, Omen can really back it up on the course. He made it look so easy that I'm thinking of getting a set of those cavity-backed Mizunos that he's got.

screw that.....I want that Warrior wedge he kept pulling out during our $1 wedge challenges.

Tom, dont worry about all the ribbing and joking....in all seriousness I bet your dog is not the only one that like peanut butter. :D

I just came back from watching the games and everyone (idiot announcers, washed up players, old hags, losers......) were saying 'Oh the Cowboys!-- I need to excuse myself. I think I just creamed my panties!!!'

The pressure is on now. They have to at least make it to the Superbowl. If they don't don't, I can see big problems in the off season (Owens suicide, Romo dumped again.....) a loss to any team in the NFC playoffs (Giants?) sets them reeeling...

    Good luck though.

man that is god's team, no worries mate. the only question isnt are they going to the superbowl it's who are they going to beat in the superbowl...

Just goes to show what can happen when they find and italian guy to play quarterback. Some misinformed media guy said he was Mexican but we all know that can't be true.

If God cheers for anyone, it's the Lions and Kitna. That must make the 'Boys Satan's team. Have fun in hell.

Funny, I thought the Patriots were Satan's Team.

You have to like Tony Romo even if you aren't a Cowboy fan. He is a scratch golfer, and even attempted to qualify for the US Open. I heard Parcells in a recent interview recall how he was blown away by Romo's creativity and confidence the first time they played golf together.

The Patriots are Satan's AFC team. Outside of division rivals, I rate my disdain for teams based on the annoyance factor of their fans. Cowboys fans aren't too bad so far.

As long as we're talking football, I have a question. I'm still learning, so the answer to this one may be obvious to the rest of you. Why do the best teams play to win the AFC, and then they have this thing called a Super Bowl that would seem to be, basically, a lopsided exhibition game between the winner of the top conference and the best junior league team? Then they play a Pro Bowl that has even less meaning. Is it because they are slowly trying to ease their fans into the offseason? I guess that might make sense.

Also, why do some of you prefer junior league teams to those in the AFC?

Omen -- Sorry about the cavity backs comment. It's nothing personal, I just thought those gaping indents in the back of your clubs were some type of game improvment gimmick to help you get the ball airborn.:D

Pisano -- Your confusion is understandable because in America we have many front-running bandwagon type fans. The true fan cheers for his or her home team. I grew up in northern NJ where the Giants and Jets play. The choice for me was obvious since my dad was a Giants fan and, by league mandate (I think that's why anyway), the Jets don't actually have fans.

Amen to that. You cheer for them, no matter how much they suck and piss you off at times. And most importantly, you never EVER cheer for their biggest rival. I don't care if your team needs them to win to make the playoffs, you still don't cheer for them. You just yell at your team for getting into that predicament in the first place.

If you do give in and cheer for that other team, shame on you. Other real fans will boo you and you will be shunned until you can re-proove your worthiness.

So true. As a fan of a Pittsburgh division rival (rhymes with tangles), I had to pull for the hated Patriots yesterday. Very difficult to do, but necessary.

So it's a regional thing. Wasn't obvious because there's not team in the LA/Orange Co. area. People seem to route for various teams around the country. Even though San Diego not far, they don't seem to be that popular up here. There are alot of Cowboy fans, so I was poking at them a little. The ones I know aren't from Dallas. I've met Patriots fans, Giants, Jets, Steelers. Haven't met any Bengals fans. Do they exist?

Bengals fans are the truest fans in the country because there has never been a bandwagon to jump on. Patriots and Steelers? Loaded with bandwagoners.

That seems only partially true. Chad Johnson made the Bengals fun to watch last year. Hell, first game of the year was one of the coolest football games I've seen in a long time!

2 years ago, there was a semi bandwagon to jump on. I was at that Monday nighter vs. the Ravens, and yes it was awesome. They are one of four teams the Bengals have beaten this year.

My fault, that wasn't the game I was thinking of. I guess it was week 2 or 3, but it was the Bengals vs Browns game in Cincinatti. Who seriously doesn't love watching two teams score over 95 points?

Ah yes. Week 2 in Cleveland. The lowest point in the history of defense.

My fault, that game was in Cleveland. I forgot about Ocho-Cinco jumping up into the dogpound. That game was terrible for defense, but one of the most exciting 60 minutes of football I've watched in a while.
