Thats odd. Never heard it called Co. LondonDerry before, the city yes, but not the county.

Hey Striper
Entering a political quagmire on this topic. The city is officially Londonderry, county is Londonderry, the local council is Derry, the airport is Derry City. It's all f###ed up if you ask me. I'd prefer Derry (showing my policical aspirations) but I have to abide by what's on my bills etc.
To get round it people up here call it Stroke City (that's Derry / Londonderry).
Doesn't affect my golf though!! ;)

Absolutely staying out of the political dimension. Portstewarts website is nice. Only course in the north i've played is a place called the "brown trout"near ballymoney co antrim. At least i think that was what it was called. Long time ago.

I'm trying to lure Dave Irish up here to Portstewart for a game some time soon. You're welcome as well. Sounds like you're not a million miles away from eachother (he plays at some s###hole called Hollywood Lakes), so you could organise a car share, dunno??
Maybe we could get a GR Forum Irish Classic going?
