    Your Dream Bag

If you had no budget what clubs would you buy? (All 14 Clubs) And also include the price of them all.
    Here is my dream bag:

5 Wood: Callaway FT Series 19* Stiff

Irons (3-PW): Callaway X-20 Graphite Stiff
    Sand Wedge: Cleveland CG12 56*

    Well then......

    Driver: Titleist 907 D2 9* Stiff
    3 Wood: Titleist 906F2 15* Stiff
    Hybird: Titleist 585.H 19* Stiff
    Irons: Titleist Z-B 4-PW 6.0 Project X
Wedges: Titleist 200 Series 52* Tour Chrome
Titleist Spin Milled 58* Tour Chrome
    Putter: Ping Redwood Anser

I know that is only 13 clubs.....Yesterday they had a demo day and I was toying around with Callaway's 64* degree the mac daddy...I must say i was impressed, so much spin on so short of shots, the only complaint was my pro v1's got chewed to pieces but this was a fun club that i defently would like to rotate into my bag...

Yea i hate those short, downhill chips. Seems like a 64* wedge would help that a lot.

I don't understand the whole dream bag idea. If it's a dream bag I'd like a driver that goes exactly where I want whenever I want. One long Iron, one mid iron and one wedge that I have absolute control of. Oh, and a putter to knock in all those short putts!

The only clubs I dream about are ones that will get as close to doing what I want as possible. Wanting clubs because they are expensive or look cool doesn't make much sense when you think about it!

I don't want these clubs because they are expensive or look good. I want them because i have hit them and I can hit them a lot better that my current clubs but i just don't have enough money to buy them all. Eventually that is the bag that I want and will get.

    dream bag...

Some optimally fitted driver... approx. 500 bucks with shaft
some optimally fitted 3 wood... approx. 500 bucks with shaft
some optimally fitted 5 wood... approx. 500 bucks with shaft

then i would have mizuno custom forge me some mutually designed blades, then hand grind each head to optimize the ballstriking.... ONLY GOD KNOWS how much this would cost... 2- pw

probably some hand ground scratch wedges 52*, 56*, 60* all custom ground for my preferential uses... they will probably all be low bounce in the end... approx. 240 a wedge

putter... something hand made SC or TPM or RJB .... i dont know a grand i guess....

bag... what bag.... these bit.ches are works of art... just bring in some kind of special japanese golf club artistic stand... we will put it in the west wing just down from the suit of armor that.

total cost..... approx. 6220 assuming that mizuno will do the irons for 3000.... and then theres the cost of the japanese golf club artistic stand... another 2000 ???

oh and the cost of the house that actually has a west wing.....

i should win the masters a couple times if i want my dream "bag"

I took the dream bag idea as clubs we would like to have that look good and be able to execute all kinds of different shots with them, since the name "dream". Most of us cant afford everything we want so there are stuff out there that we would like to have that we currently dont have....

Omen I count 16 clubs, you're gonna have to drop the 5 wood and one of those wedges.
I chose the road less traveled.

Now where the f#ck am I?

To be honest, I don't want for much in my bag at the moment. I'm a bit like Pingman, I will only hve clubs in the bag I'm happy to play. But if I had the spare time and money I would probably go get fitted for a 3 wood, and maybe add a few putters as they are the one item I tend to change alot. From the ones I've tested I would go with Odyssey XG #2, Yes Tracy II, Nike Unitize retro. Obviously if money was no object a custom made putter would do nicely. Actually if money was no object I would probably go on similar lines to Omen's dream bag.

P.S. Enough ProV1 X's to be able to open a new sleeve every round would be nice.

depending on the course two of the clubs would not be used. i would still have them though, just not always in the bag.

Like others I already have a setup I am pretty happy with but if say my clubs were stolen and I had to start again my bag might look something like this:

    Driver: Cleveland HiBore XLS 10.5*
3 Wood: Cleveland HiBore XLS 15* or Ping G10 15*
    Hydrid: Cobra Baffler 18* & 23*
Irons: Taylormade R7 TP or Cleveland CG Reds 4-PW
    Wedges Cleveland CG12 51*, 56*, 60*
Putter: ??? Not sure would need to demo a few.

I would alternate the 4 iron with the 23* hybrid depending on course and weather conditions.

That is probably what I would look at based on the latest offerings from the big brand OEM's but reading threads by Dorkman and LyleG have opened my eyes to professional clubfitting so I might actually explore that option if I really needed to start over again.
I chose the road less traveled.

Now where the f#ck am I?

I'm sorry if I was incorrect. Maybe you can only play your best with the absolute newest most expensive equipment on the market!

That's actually Omen's mom. yes, she's hot enough to tap, but her elevator doesn't quite make it all the way up if you know what I mean.

It's difficult to get enough of something 2 inches long. Zing. Now get back in your cage.
