I always insist on a square faced, neutrally weighted drivers. I hate closed face or heel weighted drivers, but that's just my opinion. Whatever works.
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

I have always liked a tiny bit of open at address, and if the driver I had didn't do it, I did it myself... kind of made me feel like I could go ahead and crank it over without worrying about a snapper...

my natural shot is a fade, and with my XL Tour 9.5 it seems to set up just perfectly for that slight fade. 2* open at address.... I pull it a bit from time to time, mostly when I don't get that fade, but I hardly ever snap it...

I'm a fader as well, I don't think a slightly open face would bother me. Left is my trouble, and when I can remove that side of the course, I score a lot better.

I usually hit my irons with a slight draw or straight, but with the driver I'll always go with a neutral or open face ot get a stock fade. I hit it long enough to hit fades and still be out there, and I find the fade with the driver is much more predictable and consistent. I can hit draws when I nedd to and my swing is on, but I can never be 100% sure when I line up for a draw that it won't block way right or turn into a snap hook. When I go for a fade my worst result is it goes straight but I still find the left rough. With a drawer the worst result is deep into the jungle left or right.

I play the baby cut with my driver as I find hitting a cut is very easy and predicitable to control as opposed to the draw.
