Do you prefer to wear a glove or just play bare handed
I myself am a bare handed golfer I really don't see a need for myself to wear a golf glove. It tends to give me decreased feel and a little too much grip
-
You can never have too much grip especially when it gets really humid and your hands begin to sweat. I personally use a glove and can't go without one. I use the Footjoy Sci-Flex and just love it. They come in cool colors as well.

I use corded grips and if I don't use gloves when I'm practicing I get torn calluses. Since I use them to practice it doesn't feel right on the course without a glove.
I don't use a glove on any shot less than a half swing, or from a bunker, and not when I'm putting.

This thread could be turned into a sick perverted joke so quickly.

i wear a glove except for putting, chipping, and like half wedge shots...
-
I've tried one glove, two gloves, rain gloves, you name it. I just prefer to play without one and it's one less thing to buy/lose.

I can understand going gloveless for increased feel. But how can you have too much grip with the left hand on a full shot? The more friction, the less grip pressure.
-
I will get blisters without golf glove... I even have to use tape on my finger (without glove) to prevent blisters

Hi
I never use a glove. I find that it reduces the sensation and i can get friction sores very easily.
I do however always use one when playing golf.
I thaaaaank you

You should always wear gloves, eye protection, and a hardhat while handling heavy equipment. Safety first!
There are enough orphan children in the world already.
Oh yeah, a glove is a requirement for me when I play golf.

Two points each for Edgey and FON!
I find that wearing a glove does decrease the sensation and friction as well, which helps me to last many, many more rounds.

This could go on for a few pages!
I go with "no glove" most of the time. Here in AZ. in the summer you tend to sweat a little more so I wear one then so my club does not do the helicopter out of my hands.

So I thought of one more while I was on my lunch break...
I prefer the synthetic ones because the ones made from real animals smell funny.

Getting germs from sheep sucks. Good idea using the glove to keep those germs from getting all over your hands.
Now we know the answer to "WWSGD?" and I am burning the bracelet as we speak.

I find that wearing a glove is problematic. First off you have to remove the glove midswing to have a decent finish. Second off the act of removing the glove reduces the ball speed and launch angle. I've only had one eagle and it came from a great finish.

Of course you do, you have an infant in the house. It's the only decent choice. Although it's Cincinnati, doesn't your sister live near you?

There's always the option of pitching cucumbers down a drafty hallway.
