Ironically, my answer to this question is No_Idea.
Be glad we aren't getting all of the government we're paying for.

I ground the soles of my x-tours. I require less forgiveness and prefer a higher center of gravity. I believe the width of my iron soles is slightly under half an inch. To compensate for the lost weight, I've placed lead tape toward the top edge of my irons.

If you are using xtours, then you are using callway cavity backs. You obviously need plenty of forgiveness mr 3 chopper.

No need to be jealous of my superior clubs and skills. I'm sure your KZG's are really "nice".

That sounds just like a HB reply. How many pairs of cargo shorts do you own?

BJ, I think we've already established 2 things as truth.
1) I have no aliases
2) You can never own too many cargo shots
Your mom is a whore. I guess that's 3 things.

well it kind of depends on where you measure near the heel it is thinner than just short of the toe.
so let me know where on the sole you want to know the thickness.. it will vary some club to club as well
HOPE THIS HELPS
Omen
as far as the leaf rule... move those things.. if tiger can get a boulder moved you can move a leaf..
Omen, the GR standard by which all GOLFERS will be measured.

Measure at all points along the sole then give the square area. That covers 1 iron. Now find the sum of all areas, then the average, and finally don't forget the standard deviation. That should give me all the data I need to buy those new callaway clubs that have soles wider than a dollar bill.
