Golf Review's founding father suspended for 6 months
Be glad we aren't getting all of the government we're paying for.

How could they do this to such a model citizen and role model for the youth of America?!
Would he have even earned a card for 2009, anyway?
Seldom right, never in doubt......

i dont think so... but now he can't even play on sponsor exemptions...

If he could would he make a single cut? Maybe they did him a favor.

He should be playing on The Hooters Tour. It is a perfect marriage of his lifestyle and playing ability.
Happy New Year, GR bastards.

Good for JD. They should suspend his azz for a year so he can get his sh.it straight. Like go on a little diet and lose about 20 lbs. Visit a shrink for about 6 months and get his mind right. And then comeback to the PGA and play like he used too. GRIP IT AND RIP IT style. Its apparent that his divorce has taken a toll on him mentally , physically, and caused him to play golf like he doesnt care. IMO I miss the old JD when he was playing during the 90's, and actually played some very entertaining golf. The old JD was a shot maker and would get up and down from any where. And didnt hesitate to bomb one for the people in the gallery. In the 90s JD was a mans man golfer and a joy to follow in a tourney.

I agree. I used to enjoy watching him. Now it's like watching a train wreck; entertaining, but not something for the children to see.....
His course management style is "decerebrate pedal to the metal".....
Seldom right, never in doubt......

As a tax paying citizen of Australia I can't help but feel some responsibility for the great mans demise. The way he was treated and portrayed by the media here was a disgrace and may have contributed to his suspension.
All I can say about Tim Finchem is that he needs a reality check. He already has the biggest drawcard in glf out indefinitely with a wonky knee and what does he do? He shoots himself, and the PGA Tour, in the foot by suspending the only guy who can save it. The only guy who can keep the fans coming through the gates until Tiger comes back.
I think the PGA Tour should sack Finchem effective immediately and put someone in charge who is in touch with golf and fans. Spank would be my nomination.

On the bright side: he isn't likely to live long enough to become a problem for the Champion's Tour officials.....

I agree with firing Finchem.
I think J.D, himself would make a great interim commissioner until his suspension is up, but at that point he should resign to concentrate on winning another major.
