Aldila NV Hybrid Shafts
I have two Aldila Hybrid NV 85 shafts on a couple of clubs and I love them. I was going to have a couple of clubs made for a friend of mine but the Aldila shafts are not cheap. They are about of 50.00 upgrade. I am no shaft expert, I just know they have a great feel and little to no feedback in my hands and I think they are a great shaft. Am I paying for a name here or what. Are these shafts worth the significant upgrade?
Thanks everyone!!

Haven't you just answered your own question?
If the new clubs are for a friend, maybe you should let him try out your clubs with the NV shafts already installed and let him decide for himself if the extra cost is worth it.
I had one of those shafts in a hybrid a few years ago. For me, it was just OK but I prefer a steel shaft because they feel a little tighter w/ more control. I also like the heavier weight and feel of a steel shaft. Again that was just me and each person has their own preference.
