Luke Donald isn't playing. You may want to scratch that bet.

It will get scratched automatically if he doesn't play. I don't see him on the list, either. I wonder if he withdrew before the tourney started?

He withdrew yesterday. Something about aggravating his wrist while fisting Camp Freddy.

I imagine it was the thrill of Freddy's life then to be fisted by a hand that touches Mizuno products so regularly.

I don't understand why the Golf Channel doesn't follow these tournaments from their start to their finish. After all, it is a channel that bases it's inflow on the sale of golf. I'd have to think that there would be tons of sponsors that would rather do their advertising during a PGA event than during "Past British Highlights."
I plan on being on the golf course today and tomorrow by 3:00 EST . . . .

You should have some money on Duval not breaking 80. He chopped his way around today and finished double triple or something.
What a has been he is. The only good thing about him playing is that he reminds us all that Nike is payhing him millions of bucks a year to endorse their products. Him and Wie must be at the top of the list on the "What the fuk were we thinking" file at Nike.

I can't remember another player climbing so high to fall so low. Anybody else think of somebody? I mean, I honestly feel sorry for the guy . . . . .

Not sure that Baker Finch came from quite as high as Duval, but I would think having to share a commentary box with Johnny Miller would certainly be a lower destination than merely stinking it up on tour. Duval obviously still hasn't reached rock bottom.

This is the part of gambling that I hate -- I went 0-4. This is also why I only gamble for recreational purposes and only what I can afford to lose.
On the plus side, I entered a 2 man scramble Saturday and we played in a consistent 30 mph wind with gusts regularly in the 40s. It was brutal, but my partner and I was able to post a score that won 2 place even though we thought we were never really ever in the competition because we didn't golf our best. However, 2nd place won us $200 and our entry fees were $50 a piece so we were happy . . . . .
