    Another new idiot

After browsing/lurking this forum for a very long time, I figured I would post a bit.

You guys seem like a pack of dicks who prey on each other and kill the weakest in the herd.

This is a positive in my book.

He writes in his info that he has a 13.8 index. Isn't there some fine print in that new Arizona state law that if an illegal gets his index down below 10.0 a green card is automatically granted by I.C.E.?

Not sure about that but I did drop a mexican groundskeeper with an errant drive that hit him RIGHT IN THE F'ING HEAD. Dropped him like a sniper. It's his own fault, he shouldn't have peeked around the palm like that with my $hitty swing in full view.

I moved him aside, took relief from the casual blood that had pooled, and made par.

Ha! Yeah, I'll be 45 next month. I've been following the Larry saga for a while now and find it and him to be an example of internet hilarity.

Although I know your opinion about riding in carts and I can't abide. I live in AZ. So when it's 107°, I'm not walking at all. Not unless I enjoy sun stroke and/or dying on the 14th fairway.

I would suggest a different user name, or perhaps an avatar? This is the first post I have read of yours.

Who the hell puts random numbers in letters in a "name?" ...to the 44 year old new guy, note the correct usage of quotation marks.

Welcome to the board, but Yaz1965 would have matched your age better. Or does this have something to do with a game 7 world series loss?

1965 was in fact the year of my birth.

I was born and raised in Boston. The '75 Sox were the team that my father and I watched every single minute of. Magical year, wanted them to win but it didn't take away from the whole experience. Yaz was and still is a boyhood hero. What can I say? I'm gay for the guy.

I'm one of the few Texans I know who has seen Yaz play. I caught a Jim Rice foul ball at Arlington Stadium back in the '70s.

    bienvenidos amigo!

oh, and Luis Tiant went in relief in that game. One of the wierder characters ever to take the mound.

edit-- faulty memory, guess he started in that game. oh well, I was only 15 and chasing foul balls all over the stadium. In fact, I crawled under the bleachers to collect foul balls in the sandy part behind the outfield fence, and when I climbed back up to the mezzanine, security was standing there with arms folded. had to drop the baseballs, leave the park, walk around the other side and buy another ticket to get back in.

Someone in Witness Protection might create such a name. Although with "Yaz", he might be one of Whitey Bulger's boyos. And hats off to anyone who plays in 107 degree heat. If you've never done that heat in the high desert, you can't imagine how far the freaking ball flies.

    That audio is genius.

Alright, enough of this silliness, I'm off to the course. Yesterday I played the first 5 holes at 1 over before I decided to puke all over myself and the golf course. I just LOVE blow-up holes. Gonna try and not, do, THAT.

You don't want to know. Ok, I'm in a hospital, let's leave it at that. But all's fine. Don't make me get emotional, I'm kinda looped and I'll just regret it in a couple of weeks. Btw, thanks, Jeff.

Thanks, NS. The only serious issue I have is hospital "food". If somone could run down to the Fatburger I'd like a half pounder with chili and a fried egg. I offered a nurse $100 to pick one up for me. My "friends" won't do it but I think the nurse could use some cash for plastic surgery.

Welcome back, Zo! I hope your recovery from whatever is rapid and as pain free as possible.
I now demand that you scroll down and post something in my largely ignored, "Lorenzo!" thread.

Appreciate it, HS. The doctor says the prognosis is good, but he's not having to eat the food here or have his pritvate parts attended to by Nurse Wanda. Wanda is mean and cruel and wearing two or three nurse uniforms all sown together. The worst part is I know afterwards she's pleasuring herself thinking of me and then having a big meal.

If Wanda fell out of the ugly tree she's in the earth could get knocked off its axis, but it's a safe bet she'd be no worse for wear.

Thanks jt. I didn't see the movie, but I can't imagine there's anyone here who wouldn't rather be somewhere else.

Good to have you back, Zo. Wish I could stay around, but it's Friday for the non-indegent, and I've got stuff to do. Get well, and throw that Wanda hoss a bone.

Thanks HB. I think Nurse Wanda is eating some of the food intended for me and some of the other patients. She may have stolen some of my flowers too.

Go ahead, enjoy your weekend. I'll just wait here.

There is only one mathematical certainty here on GR, Yaz-- the "3=2" rule.

anytime you see "300" yards mentioned, they're referring to "200" yards.

That's only applicable to weight lifted or otherwise moved during a "workout".

When talking about weight of self, the opposite formula applies. Times 2.

Welcome back Zo. I thought you would have mentioned Molinari being near the top of the Players Leaderboard by now. And our (GR's) man Charley Hoffman is also up near the top. I got to watch a bit of him playing this morning while waiting for my morning tee time, and the free flowing mullet was even more magnificent than usual.

Thanks, Nah. The tv here is like going back to 1957 during a snowstorm except the sound comes out of the clicker and is completely inaudible. I think Nurse Wanda fenced the real one. If Molinari is there at the end, I'll force myself to watch it. Have you been working on nicknames for Eduardo and Francisco? They may start showing up more and more.

Good to hear about Hoffman. Is he still sponsored by Waste Management? I find that hilarious and worthy of permanent GR HOF enshrinement. You gotta love the guy just for that.

I'm working on more flexibility. I can touch my toes and all that, I just spent too much time lifting and building muscle. I'm 5'10" 215lbs but I'm built like a mutant fire hydrant. I have massive hands (8" from the crease of the wrist to the tip of the middle finger) on an average height body with huge shoulders. Long fluid swing isn't in my vocabulary.

I didn't know that. He has just leapfrogged Boo to go t the top of my hero list.

As for the nicknames, I'm going to have to callaborate with GHD again, he came up with "Meatball Mannissari". Funny how the the only three famous Italian golfers in the world all have names that lend themselves perfectly to the "meatball" prefix. Coincidence or providence?

I don't know if you saw it or not, NAH, but they were showing footage of what I think was last year's tournament and Charley hit a double bogey and threw his putter into the pond . . . . . simply classic.

Seen it on youtube. It was almost like an epiphany the first time saw it. I was looking for a new hero after the sad demise of JD and a mate from work showed it to me, and in that instant fond one. The throw was preceeded by a swat at the return 2 footer which missed. The comentators must have known a bit about Charley as they were sounding worried and warning Charley not to do anything rash, but luckily for the milions of fans, to no avail. The best putter toss since Judge Smails.

You don't need the karate chop move. Didn't you see the episode where he created a bazooka out of raw materials and then blew that big green creature to hell?

Hardly coincidence. 90% of all italian names, whether first or last, can be paired with a food product. It's by choice. I actually feel sorry for italians with names that don't conform to food. Food is good, it should be celebrated. Well, maybe not here.

With that in mind, Molinari is a slam dunk for a food nickname. I may even have a recipe for beef Molinari. Is any of this making any sense? I'm trying to filter what I'm saying through my memory because the drugs are distorting my current thoughts and perception. I'm also really paranoid right now. I feel no connection with the hot night nurse and that's bothering me too.
