Cleveland TA 588 Wedges.
Hi guys, a quick question for ya. I just received a gunmetal Cleveland TA 588 60* lob weg as a pressie and used it for the first time today. Is it just me or is the stock shaft quite short and the stock grip (the stock black and white one) very thin? I'm thinking somebody may have given me the wrong wedge, can anybody please put my mind at rest? Thanks guys.

Is it a Cleveland grip? I found mine thin and replaced it with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet. Did the trick.
Perhaps the grip is for smaller hands. Might just be as simple as that.

It is a Cleveland grip, the one that came standard with the club, it's black with white writing on it. Thanks for the reply, do you also find it a little short?

I've never found it to be a little short, but it's what God gave me. ;)
My Cleveland 60* lob wedge measures the same as my 56* Vintage Callaway wedge.I'm not sure if that helps or not. I'm 5'11", and don't find it short. Maybe you just need to get used to it. But it'll come with time.
Change up that grip and take it to the practice green and hit that bugger til it works like a charm. I dropped two chips with mine on Tuesday.

A quick check on the Cleveland web site shows that the 60* wedges are half an inch shorter than the 56* wedges

Thanks guys. Just back from my second round with the little bugger. Have to say I love the feel and spin from it. Might consider getting a 46* & the 56* now. But you're right those damn grips will have to go asap.
