Johnathan Byrd's Hole in One - Definitive proof of the magic of GFF
I thought FD had already covered this topic but his thread seems to have meandered off onto yet another discussion of PING hacksticks so I will address it now.
In fading light, unable to even see the pin, Johnathan Byrd 'let go', just like Luke Skywalker let the force takeover, and let the mystical power of GFF guide his swing enabling him to pure his ball towards the pin like a guided missile.
Meanwhile in the same conditions his hapless opponents with their cast, POS hacker shovels both put their balls in the pond. Enough said.
Surely, once and for all this is definitive proof of the magic of GFF.
I chose the road less traveled.
Now where the f#ck am I?

I heard that he bladed the ball and it landed 20 yards short of the green and ran 30 yards to the hole since it had zero spin on it. Kind of like when someones 30 cap grandmother gets an ace.

I think the surprise on his face said it all. He was silently thinking " I can't believe these clubs produced that result".

I saw the shot live on TV and it was GFF purity.
I chose the road less traveled.

There used to be a band back in the 60s called The Byrds. Hey Mr Tambourine Man was one of theirs I think.
There are plenty of hacks at my course who have had aces. A buddy of mine who is a sod laying chopper had one on a long par 3 after bouncing the ball 3 times on the fairway before rolling on and into the cup.
