A Larry thread hitting 300 would barely raise an eyebrow around here. I'm thinking at least 400. Why don't we start a book on how high it will be on a given future date. Of course if we do that there will have to be a maximum number of posts allowed per member each day, or someone will post a hundred meaningless threads in the last hour before the official deadline to win the contest. But then again this is a Larry thread so meaningless posts are par for the course.
I'm guessing 345 by close of business on Jan 30. I don't have any reason why I chose 345, I just thought it was a regular average sort of number after reading some reviews in the driver section.

You might consider taking your measurements in a Faraday cage. I personally like to sleep in a Faraday cage...that way the government can't bombard me with x-rays from spy satellites...well I'm probably not important enough to x-ray, but it can still keep wireless signals and the earths own radiant energy from bombarding me at night.
Though not legal anymore, heavy coats of lead paint used to help cut down on the excess electro-magnetic wave interference. You can still buy medical grade lead backed drywall, but its a bit on the heavy side.

Coming from Iceland I must defend the sport of handball. The world cup just started yesterday and as a result of your insults towards handball, I demand that you root for ICELAND! This is kind of our national sports and we call the team "our boys". It is really remarkable that a country of only 300.000 people are one of the top 5 nations in handball. We got the silver medal at the last olympics and a bronze medal at the European championship. Going for gold at he world cup obviously.

I can usually play from mid May until mid October if I'm lucky (live in the northern part of the country).
I always feel sorry for you Northern Hemisphere guys.
As a true golf addict i can't comprehend how you can only play for 6 months a year.
In Australia I get to play all year round, at least 2 times a week, sometimes 3 !!

Yeah, it can be tough to get through winter but I use that time to do some clubhoing to make up for the lack of playtime. It kind of saves me that I work every other week and I can spend 5 days of my week off on the golfcourse. Another thing is that over summer we have daylight almost 24/7. It's GREAT to play midnight golf when the wind has calmed and you are maybe all alone on the course. Nothing bothers you then....except for those dang snap hooks

Well, loans were taken from the IMF and a few countries and things look better than first feared. There are some very important assets Iceland has, so hopefully these loans will save us. Our economical system is small so it's easier for us to get out of this situation than it would be for a bigger country. For an Icelander the main difference now is that things cost a lot more than they did a few years ago. Golf equipment for excample is VERY expensive. I guess that clubs today cost 100% more than they did in 2007. Thank god for ebay

Well, loans were taken from the IMF and a few countries and things look better than first feared. There are some very important assets Iceland has, so hopefully these loans will save us. Our economical system is small so it's easier for us to get out of this situation than it would be for a bigger country. For an Icelander the main difference now is that things cost a lot more than they did a few years ago. Golf equipment for excample is VERY expensive. Well, it looks great imo but I'm sorry to say I haven't hit it. I just took a chance on that one and bought it new for about 40$ plus shipping. I think I can't lose really Damn snow covers everything and my back problems are hindering me from hitting it from a mat indoors. That might change in the next few weeks though. I'll let you know if I can take it for a spin....
