Op are TourStage z 101 worthy?

Your impression is always valued op. I,m looking at a set 3-pw s300 kinda nice, gorgeous faces and grooves, some bag chatter. And thinking of pulling the trigger. Or should I hold out for a later model, or some I think there 201s. I,m kind of a players cavity kinda guy. But still enjoy a round every so often with my mp37s up to the 5 iron, but that head gets a little small in the 3 and 4 iron. I think some of its mental, sooner might be able to help me, or make it worse probably. Thanks in advance 12

OP is pretty high on one of the Tourstage models, but I can't remember which one it is.

I believe the z101s are among OP's favorite irons. High marks coming from a club **** of his caliber. Kind of like Wilt Chamberlain saying that a girl was the best piece of ass he ever had. I looked them up on eBay after he mentioned them and they looked pretty sweet. I think Kiwi got his first ace with those.

HS is correct. I bought a set 2-PW a couple of months ago after OP had recommended them and got my 1st ever ace with the 7 iron 1st time out. OP has two sets, one with DG R300 and the other with S300. He said that they have an almost cult like following amongst club ho's. They were OP's gamers for a while before he invariably moved on to another set like any good club ho. He has even written a review in the review section.

They have a very blade like appearance at address and a very thin topline and feel very soft and sweet when struck purely. I haven't been playing much for the last 5-6 weeks due to back problems but I was loving these sticks up until my enforced break from golf.

For a club ho like you 12sandwich I think they would be mandatory to have on your resume.
I chose the road less traveled.

I don't really need to add any more. IMO the Z101's are one of the best players cavity backs EVER produced. If you have a chance to pick up a set in great condition don't hesitate. Grab em.

OP: I really like the look of this club, very "macho" and sweet looking... I would love to have a set like that in 75-g R-flex steel shafts. Any recommendation ?

Not sure I have a recommendation for a steel shaft that light. About the closest that i have used and can recommend would be the True Temper TX 90. They are only 12 to 15 grams heavier than your prefered weight and are very stable for a lightweight shaft. Also not expensive.

Kind of a tricky eBay seller. He shows a rock ding on the 7 iron, that looks vaguely familar. I,m thinking if its the only one, I can live with it. Buy it now 275. Something makes me look at his previous buys. Him and I where the bidders on these from another seller. A couple weeks ago. He doesnt show the rock dings in the pw, and 6 iron. arsehole. Still probably a good deal, if you intend to play the crap out of them.

I saw that, too. Personally, it would not have stopped me from buying them and playing them if I wanted them. That little rock ding isn't going to hurt the playability any.

It is likely way too much club for you, Pky. If you hit an iron like this, you will start having sensations in your lower extremities again. Can your wife stand being chased around the bedroom at her old age? Can your heart take all the new stress of blood flowing more freely through your body again? It's not just a change in your golf game that clubs like this effect, it is a life change.

You might ought to just step back and slowly walk away.

These irons are a very soft forging so small dings are quite common with them. However if the dings on those clubs are fairly big i would pass on that set. They are not that uncommon that if you can wait and be a little chosey you will get a set in better condition.

You're right, he should stay away from these. They are the golfing version of viagra, and may be too much of a shock to the system afteryears of the soft on inducing Pings he's been playing.

Mine had a ding in the face of the 7 iron too but I still striped my 1st ace with it. The rest of the irons were/are in pristine condition.
