    A Scary Ping Halloween Song

It's close to midnight and some Ping Eye 2s are lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight, you see ZZ Lite that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but square grooves take the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as black dot looks you right between the eyes
    You're paralyzed

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one's gonna save you from the beast about strike
You know it's thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight

You hear the trunk slam and realize there's nowhere left to putt
You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see your butt
You close your eye 2s and hope that this is just imagination, girl!
But all the while you hear the creature creeping up behind
    You're out of time

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
There ain't no second chance against the thing with forty eye 2s , girl
    Thriller, thriller night
You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller tonight

Night caddies calling, the dead start to walk in their masquerade
There's no escaping the jaws of 10 over this time
    (They're open wide)
This is the end of your life

They're out to get you, there's demons closing in on every side
    [From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/m/michae...er-lyrics.html ]
They will possess you unless you change that number on your dial
Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together, yeah
All through the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen
    I'll make you see

That this is thriller, thriller night
'Cause I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
    Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a
Killer, diller, chiller, thriller here tonight

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night
Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghost would ever dare try
    Thriller, thriller night
So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, ow!

    (I'm gonna thrill ya tonight)
Golf Clubs fall across the land
The square groove clubs are close at hand
Red Dots crawl in search of blood
    To terrorize y'alls persimmon woods
I'm gonna thrill ya tonight, ooh baby
I'm gonna thrill ya tonight, oh darlin'
    Thriller night, baby, ooh!

The foulest stench is in the air
Of playing GFF for forty thousand years
And grizzly fools from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive
    Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the Ping Eye 2 killer

The Halloween spirit has deserted my area this year. In the two government offices I frequent and work in, no one was dressed up today. In previous years, half the people had dorky costumes or at least douchbag hats, glasses or faux beards on. The exception was some black women who had dyed their hair purple and red. Except that maybe they didn't realize that it is Halloween.

Only two or three houses are decked out in my neighborhood and those I pass through to and from work. The usual rate is at least 33%. I think it is due to the stress of living through the hurricane. The people who lost power and still don't have it are too pissed off to get dressed up or decorate. The people like us who never lost our juice spent 48 hours waiting for it it go out. In a way, it would have been less stressfull to just lose it. Oh well.
Mostly Taylormade clubs now except for two Ping I25 hybrids, Mizuno 54 & Callaway 56 wedges.

Those pictures make me want to go pumpkin smashing. I'm trying to decide which club would inflict the most damage.

Trick or treating was a bit of a bust. Cold, windy and rainy. The girl didn't want to be out there for more than an hour. The boy must have been miserable, and now has a fever and is coming home from day care.

Sorry to hear about the boy.

Yes, it was miserable wasnt it. My 7yr old lasted 1 hour then wanted to go inside.

My clubs are washed and in the basement.

I hear the new trend is for kids to go to the mall to do their trick or treating. All the stores have candy they give out. That is the most pathetic and stupid thing I've ever heard.

My kids had a great time last night. Party and then some trick or treating.

It's getting pretty cold here too. The other day I had to wear a fleece because it was in the 60's at 7:30am. I took it off after 4 holes.

December is the worst. Sometimes I have to wear the fleece and rainpaints for nine holes.

They've had trick or treating at local malls for years around here. We are pretty progressive in Ohio.

I do envy you for being able to golf all year (or close to it). It was 80 last week here - then bam the door shuts and its 38.

Halloween is not something we grew up with but seems to be yet another American tradition we've latched on to. In previous years kids have come to the door trick or treating and I was unprepared with no treats to give them. I felt like a right douche. This year I decided to be prepared and went and bought a bunch of candy and no kids came a knocking. So last night I ate half that candy crap myself and now feel sick.
I chose the road less traveled.

Now where the f#ck am I?

I was inundated with kids. This year there were cars lined up and down the streets from outside the area. Somehow word got out the local pickings were good. I was out of candy by 7:30. Last year I had to give most of it away. So I turned out the lights and went to a party.

Halloween is my favorite holiday because of the costumes the women wear. Do you know what I mean, Kiwi?

It was busy in the hotspots with kids. I couldn't get my 9 year old to score in the several nursing or retirement homes. She was creeped out at the thought. I was just concerned about the possibility of the handing out of there meds. I don't like the candy that resembles pills these kids love, even though I had my share of pez when I was there age.
Around half the kids costumes were pretty weak this year.

We are pretty rural and devoid of trick or treaters. So it's a few miles to the nearest metropolis.
