    Angry Ping I3 Irons

Hi guys, I'm just wondering does anyone have any opinion to offer on these irons. Basically when I got them about 2 years ago I think they were set up wrong, 2* flat. I have them with the JZ stiff shaft and have now had them put back to a standard lie as I was previously hitting weak fades with them (my natural shape is a slight draw!)

The bottom line is that I hate these pieces of ****. I've gone back to an old set of Mizuno blades and strike the ball much better with them. The pings are heavy, unwieldy have zero feel and give me no increased distance. I'm wondering why the hell I got them in the 1st place (actually I got them wholesale from a friend of mine who's brother is the local ping rep).

Just wondering what any of you guys think about these "great clubs".

    ping sucks

I think ping sucks. The only good product they have made were the s59 blades, and mizunos blades are much better than ping

I had a set of i/3-O's a few years back. I didn't keep them for very long. They had a very dead feel to them, and the way the sole and back were shaped, they had the annoying habit of grabbing the grass during my backswing. Anything longer than the shortest grass I'd get that grabbing which threw me off balance for the rest of the swing. I parted company with them without tears.
