    Back to the site

It's been some time since this site has had an active community and that's one thing that I feel we should try and change. I think now-a-days we need a good golf forum that we can all relax and not take too seriously, so many out there are geared toward a "whos is bigger" contest. This is a shame because the game of golf needs to be all inclusive.

I would like to hear from some of the old members as to how we may be able to bring a new, more relaxed community to the public.

Do you mean this place isn't borked still? New members can sign up and post freely now?

That's what broke this site and that's what is needed to fix it. No new membership = dead site.

I think I know a few guys who would like to talk about golf again, provided they can still come home.

It could be still broken, I'm not sure actually, however if we can get ahold of francios we can get these issues solved. The caddyshack forum is fine and I have no issues over there, but they too lack an influx of new users which kind of makes things boring.

Let me see what I can work out.

I'm a little older now but I'm still getting laid. Although I had to get a restraining order on the last gf. The ***** stole my oven door.

Geez Zo, how many times do you need to be told that bondage in the kitchen is a bad idea?

Little too late to buy a spare key for those cuffs now.

Seriously, she stole your oven door? Now that's got to be an interesting story.

You need to stay away from the mid east refugee girls. You are lucky she didn't steel the copper coils in your refrigerator.

I can't believe I was able to log in using the old password. Only took me two tries to remember one of the old ones. Well, this place is deader than Caitlyn Jenner's ovaries. Maybe others will see us here and come on back. The Caddyshack is also slack although there is a slight pulse. However, its creator seems to have vanished. This is cool. I have lots of different equipment to review so maybe I'll start doing that. I think golf is suffering badly. Tiger needs to win an event. I think he should start playing on the European Tour. So I could watch him early in the morning on weekends and not have to waste the prime time of those days.

What's up fellas!! I'm actually playing golf again (poorly as usual) but even if I wasn't, I'm all about restoring the greatest forum in internet history to its former glory.
The key of course, is to get an influx of new folks in here so that we can tell them to "shut the fuq up!!" and call their clubs gay.

What's happened to this site? Where is my post count? How will we reestablish the old GR hierarchy without the official post count?

Edit: Ah there it goes! I was on the mobile site!

After a few beers (porter with vanilla) and some decent smoke, it popped into my head to check the old site out. How long till Laurie and the canadian basement lurker return?

KP, the old hierarchy has always been based upon the GR Manliness Index, not some pathetic post count.

They must have taken their comedy stylings to some other unsuspecting golf board.

Regardless, they're a hell of a lot more entertaining than Tony's LPGA Report.

The real question is how long until Spank shows up?

literally every 6 months it seems like GR crosses my mind..... I feel like it works the same for all our former members as well as HB pointed out.

I wonder if there are any new members who should receive the old GR welcome.

Well...it's been about 8 months so time for another post. I'm sorry to say I'm going through a dry spell. I have a couple of candidates so hoping it ends soon.

I told you all about Speith long before. Having the ability to see the future has made me rich.

BTW...how did Accurbar make it on? Are we good to go as to new members?

Watching Spieth's choke job this week made me miss the old site and the discussion that would have generated. That chunked wedge from the drop was as ugly a swing as I've ever seen from a PGA pro. Reminded me of one of my shots!
I chose the road less traveled.

Now where the f#ck am I?

Could you imagine how great this US election season would be if we had the site cranked up like it was 6 years ago?

Larry rsf would've been interesting too. He'd probably be a massive Trump supporter.
