    Master,

Send me your address and I'll ship a cargo container of snow to you. We have more than enough here.

    Cold...

This 20-30 weather in southeast, Texas stinks! It might even snow! That only happens about once every 10-15 years here. They are calling for 60-70 degree high temps next week. Yes, we do golf year round here!!!!

I have a big game on Boxing (St. Stephen's) Day with my Dad and 2 brothers. It is traditional game, we only ever play about once per year, so I hope the snow stays away.

It's a very competitive affair, almost breaking into a fist fight a few years ago. There is usually family conflicts mixed with hang-overs and built up fraternal gamesmanship. My younger brother is ALWAYS late, my older brother is ALWAYS impatient and my dad is ALWAYS majorly hung-over.

Ima gonna bring the video camera this year... ;)

    That is Portstewart BT55.

I only bet on sure things and only with people who cough it up.

I don't mind the snow but it can't get in the way of the Big Match on the 26th. Too much sibling rivalry at stake.

    Hi rsr,
I'm in central TX and we're having the same crap. They're calling for lows in the teens the next two nights. I'ts suppose to be back in the 60s for Monday so tee time is set for noon. I'm glad this is rare here.

My daughter is a graduate student at a midwestern university. To get her home for Christmas, we always try to book her flights through a sunbelt city. We avoid Denver, Chicago, and St. Louis hub transfers during the winter. Well, wouldn't you know it; Dallas was snowed in yesterday and she's delayed getting in until tonight instead of her scheduled flight yesterday.
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

I agree. Just changed the wiring on my heating unit, only had one heat strip hooked up. It could not keep up.

By "heating unit", do you mean furnace?

    I have a heating unit. It's called a microwave.

Sorry, that was a poor cold Canadian joke.

In Texas, you don't hear that term as much. Look at our President and see what mastery we have of the English language.
