Who Will Win The 2005 Majors?

OK Folks 2005 is 2 days away and the PGA season begins Jan.3 Any opinions on who is going to win a Major in 2005? I have a gut feeling Big Ernie is going to capture one this year, maybe the Masters. He was so close last year and I think his mind set is strong enough to get over the ones he lost (In the Masters the one Phil won)
Of course Vijay might be another threat at the Masters. Personally I would love to see Sergio win a Major. Let's not forget Phil, 5 strokes kept him from winning all 4 Majors in 2004. If he can get the equipment matters straightened out he could be there again in 2005. I am Canadian and of course would love to see Mike Weir win another Major. But I feel he needs to sharpen his game back to the way he was in 2003 or it won't happen.
So let everyone know who you would like to see win one of the Big 4 tournaments in 2005.
    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.

Dude, where did you get that Font? Cool!

    Masters: Woods
    Us Open: Mickelson
    Open Championship: Montgomerie (no kidding)
    PGA Championship: Singh or Goosen

No long shot dark horses this year. Just don't see it being that kind of Major Championship year.

Mickelson almost took it last time at #2. So I have to give him the US Open.

Yep Duval will win his second Clarret Jug. He's going to figure it out again this year.

    Masters: Vijay
    US Open: Ernie
    British Open: Tiger
    US Open: Tiger

Vijay ended too hot to lose the first one, Ernie's doing well, i think he'll grab one, and i gave Tiger the late two because i think he'll have his swing back by then and be ready to go. Neal

Font is Comic Sans, I use it everywhere, it is my trademark!
Hey I like your pick for The Open. Wouldn't it be nice to see Monty win his first Major, and have it be The Open. He was playing great at the end of the year, has his ugly divorce out of the way. He is dating a Spanish Model (Who'd of thunk of that happening!! So maybe he can pull one off. Goosen, right you can not discount that guy, ice water in his veins. As for the Masters, I predict Ernie Els to win that one. No one is in fear of Tiger anymore.

Hey, I was just wondering why Els is getting so much attention this year in contrast to past years. I know he's a great golfer but has something changed or do people just think it's his time to come through big this year. I saw golfworld picked him to be the #1 golfer this year in their top 30. I'm mostly asking because I'm not sure whether to pick him for my fantasy team. Thanks,

    Josh

Phil takes the grand slam using all Big Berthas and Cally hybrids. You heard it here first.

Masters: Singh or Els, long shot for Phil to repeat
    Us Open: Goosen, or Singh
    British: Woods, Singh or, Els
    PGA: Singh, Phil, Woods.

I can see Weir getting another major like the PGA if he sharpens up a bit.

Here is an accurate prediction of 2005 Golf majors and misc snippets

    Masters - Retief Goosen
    US Open - Ernie Els
    The Open - Ernie Els
    US PGA - Retief Goosen

Tiger Woods Major misery will continue and he will slip to number 4 or 5 in rankings being overtaken by Retief Goosen.

Greens at the US Open Will not be as ridiculous as 2004
