    100 Posts Shouldn't = Senior Memeber

Am I the only one who thinks this? I feel with other members on this board carrying 1000 or more posts it's CRAP that people with 100 are given the same ranking. Personally I think there should be more levels of membership than just junior, member, and senior.

Yeah, that's just not right. I deserve better than being ranked with people who have 100 posts. It hurts me to realize this. Deeply. Actually, I understand your frustration but I don't know if it's a big enough thing that they should change everything. I mean, you remember how long it took to get a non-golf forum. Think of how long it'd take to get new thingys. By the time they were created most of us would have passed away.

Personally I dont see the need for any categorisation of membership aside from the mods.

However, if there has to be one, there should be a time element involved, i.e. how long people have been active members. Lets face it, there are some posters here who could knock up 100 posts in a few days.

But does it really matter? I'd suggest a "member since XXXX" would be better than this senior/junior nonsense...

Those are just the default settings for the board.

No one has ever thought to change them.

This came about after the board was revised a while back. The posts used to be organized differently. When Francis re-organized everything, I'm guessing he didn't want to make long timers feel like newbies, so he started the junior and senior member notations. It obviously doesn't take long to become a "senior member." Who really cares anyway? We all started our count over at that point. Does it really matter????
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

Yeah dork is right who cares it is a silly name tag thing under your name, doesn't really make a difference, everyone should be treated the same.

Thanks for the explanation Dorkman. Just an observation because it seemed strange to me. No it doesn't matter.

What bothers me is Dorkman tries to slide under the radar by using the "Senior Member" title. We all know "Ruthless Dictator" is far more appropriate.
    I keeps it real.
