Ball hitting tendency
Hi there
When I hit my irons, I have an tendency to hit balls close to the heel. Ball mark on the club face is always left 1/4 - 1/2 inch to the heel, not at the dead center.
Should I try to fix this, or do you guys also have this tendency?

i assume by hill you mean heel? i've never heard the word "hill" when talking about a golf club so i'm sorry about that.
by hitting it there it will reduce feel and distance but you can't always be dead centre. i use to place the ball at address about 1/4" towards the toe, with this in thought during the swing it forced me to have an in-to-out swing and gave me a nice draw.
i didn't think about it, it just "felt" like i had to do it naturally.
anyway, try that but don't think about it. it might help

Actually, when I miss the "so-called" sweet spot, that's where I hit mine, too.
But, as long as I'm not shanking, I don't really worry about it, because the shots seem to
launch just fine. Actually, sometimes the ball flys so well from that spot, I think it may be my irons sweet spot.
