Nice salesman at Dick's Sporting Goods.

A couple weeks ago Dick's had a sale where if you bought one Orlimar hybrid you got one free (or fairway woods also). Price was $159 each. I had a $10 coupon so I bought a hybrid and got a free one. This week the sale was buy a Orlimar TriMetal driver at $199 and get either two fairway woods or hybrids free. I was just killing lunch time and mentioned to the salesman that I wish I had waited to buy mine. He said they had a 30 day guarentee on prices and since the new deal was better I could rework mine. So he gave me the current deal and let me buy the driver for the price difference. So, I paid $40 plus tax and got this driver http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/pr...entPage=family He could have stayed quiet and I would have never known the difference and not been upset....nice guy.

Because it is golf related. Although it could technically go under the richard/dick thread.

we need threads with no direction (not being sarcastic or mean) because it eventually leads to open topicless talk that could possibaly be fun.

Sorry. We're just messin' with you.

In all honesty, I thought it was cool that you landed that deal...unless that club ends up being a piece of garbage.
    I keeps it real.
