I hate working
It's absolutely perfect outside! I'm thinking about quitting my job and hitting the links...
-
I'm having the same thoughts. I recently found out that a friend of mine from high school, who played on the golf team with me, is the head pro at one of the newest semi-private courses in my area. How jealous am I?!!?? I should have taken a different major in college!!

Hopefully he'll at least be able to hook you up.
Oh well, I guess I can stick it out for another 25-30 years.

I'm working on that. I've narrowed it down to..
1.) Pimp - it's predominantly a nighttime job with flexible hours, so as to not cut into the golf game.
2.) Turn my backyard into a farm - probably only enough room for 1 row of corn and a cow, but it's better than worthless grass.
3.) Marry a sugarmomma - not sure how the current wife would feel about it, but I hear Utah is quite beautiful this time of year.
-
Not sure how long is the golf season in Utah, you might have to go south to play year long.
I'd stop looking for those big houses as my wife is worrying about me losing the job, so have money to hoing the club and play as much as possible
-
I don't exactly hate working but ever since I took up golf about a year ago its been the thing I'm most passionate about. If I could keep or exceed my present standard of living and play golf full time I would without any hesistation.
In fact I'm going to the range tonight I feel like a little kid about to go to an amusement park!

I live in Salt Lake and resigned a couple of weeks ago. I'm thinking about going fly fishing today...playing 18 in a weekly tournament at Bountiful Ridge tomorrow.
;)
I played 9 yesterday in a weekly twilight tournament.
Here are my recent scores
This really is a great area. Some of my rounds have pictures so you can see what it looks like. I am looking forward to the fall colors and cool temperatures. It was in the upper 70's yesterday and we had our first good rain in the evening in months. We had a lot of snow in the winter and rain in the spring which set up a great summer.
I go snowboarding and fly fishing in the winter plus play golf a few times.

I'm good freinds with the owner/developers son in law as well but that hasn't helped yet! I have to make a weekend tee time for 1 in the afternoon and pay the $100 green fees like everyone else. Oh well...I'm glad I prefer the courses nearer to my house that are $40 cheaper!

Nothing against Utah, but I only mentioned it because I would have 2 wives if I married a Sugarmomma. A little polygamist humor...

That sucks, but that is what I have to look foward to in about 2 years when i graduate from college. Hopefully I can prolong it and go to grad school but I don't look forward to a 9-5 job.

I'm starting to think about quitting golf and working.... Oh wait, no I'm not!
I do both, but I'm only 16. It works. It gets the bills payed.
"You got a choice. You can stop, or you can start."
"Start?
"Walkin"
"Where?"
"Right back to where you always been... and then stand there... Still... real still... And remember... "

Of course then ...

unless you are independently wealthy, you wouldn't be able to have an internet connection and post using that really witty moniker. ;-)

Only two? You're not even trying...
