Nike CPR wood/iron-wood, differece?
Looking for a good 2 iron/5 wood replacement, interested in the nike CPR. Whats the difference between the regular wood CPR and the iron-wood CPR? One or the other easier to hit in difference situations? Thanks!

I beleive the CPR wood is just a plain wood, not a hyrbrid. The Iron/Wood is a hybrid and would be what you would want. I think it's like the Taylormade Rescue Fairway.

The wood is not really a plain wood. You really have to look at one to understand. The face is like a wall or like a cavity in a putter and the sole is like a sole in a putter. puff it up a little and its the cpr wood. The iron wood is smaller, very skinny. It has a different sound than the woods and feels different. Both woods are considered hybrids. They will both replace an iron. There is no real difference in distance, its just the wood is suppose to be easier to hit off the fairway. TRY THEM OUT!

If you are looking for a 2 Iron replacement, the Nike CPR is very easy to Hit....but don't buy one until you try out the Ben Hogan Edge Hybrids---those are even sweeter.

myself
I have both versions, iron-wood and wood, both are hybrids. Personally I can hit the iron-wood much better. www.nikegolf.com has photos and info on both.
