    Generally, no. Tell him to get on ebay and outfit his bag with some Adams Golf stuff. Its a 'real' brand, and it will cost him the same amount of cash, perhaps less.

    I agree. Adams GT2 undercut irons are all over for approx. 110 - 120. There designed for the beginner/high handicapper. Haven't played them but they have a familiar design and have heard some good comments.

    you can also pick up used or even new Armour 845's for that price...I would go with them any day over any Adams club, but that is more a personal opinion...I have yet to hit an Adams club that I liked, and the Adams bag I had fell apart after 5 rounds.
