BeCu Wedges?
Just bought a Titleist DCI BeCu(Berrylium Copper) 52* wedge off Ebay out of curiosity...I have yet to recieve it, I was just wondering what everyone's opinions on them were as far as feel, spin, versatility, durability, and overall playability. I mainly just bought it because I don't have a gap wedge and I play DCI irons.

that wedge is pretty rare, how much did you pay?

The price is ultimately why I bought it. I knew it was hard to find because of that whole cancer scandal which ceased production, so if I didn't like it I could resell it higher. I only paid $30.01 plus shipping.
Have you played one before? Any opinions would be appreciated.

Never played Beryllium Copper before, but I do have a set of cast nickel irons. Cast clubs traditionally are very hard, so some club makers (particularly Ping) made a lot of them in an effort to reduce the hardness of the heads. Ping doesn't make them anymore either except for special order.
They are softer, and do feel better, and you have a much less chance of getting stingers, but certainly are not as soft as forged, and they initially sell for a lot more dough!
Enjoy!
