Well, colored balls are easier to find in the snow so I'd say when hell freezes over. ;)

I dont think Titliest would do that, it would ruin their style.
-
Wow! I didn't know Maxfli was doing that. Up until now, I thought Top Flite Yellow's was all that could be bought. I do have a sleeve of sky blue Volviks but they look so pretty, I don't have the heart to use them.
I asked a similar question like this a few months ago asking if it was "ghey" to use colored balls. The responses seemed 50/50.
Anyway, I love the feel of my Titleist DT Solo's off the tee and around the green. If they start making them in different colors, I'll tattoo "Titleist" on my forehead

Titelist
Titlelist has done it, I have quite a few of old orange titleist balls.
-
balls and tees should be white
-
I actually prefer the tees with the natural wood-finish. I hear it's good for an extra 5 yds.
-
why?
Why should balls and tees be white? Yellow is the most visible color. Would help you find your balls. Of course, that would not be good for the ball companies, the more you find, the fewer they sell.
I think they are mostly white because of tradition.
-
titleist DO make balls in yellow. my friend has a 12 pack of Yellow PT Solo's...
-
There is something about colored balls that screams "HACKER!" As for tees, I prefer the natural wood only because it makes cleaning my clubs easier. Some of the paint from white or other colored tees is a ***** to get off.

I wish they made yellow V1's

colored balls are not the way for me. Only exception are the old ping dual color balls, especially the gold/black ball.
P.S. balls should be white and tees preferrably naturally wood.

I am a weekend hacker and I don't like to lose balls......what's wrong with that ??? I'll lose balls when I hit it so far into the woods that it isn't even worth it for me to search. However, if they are on the fringes, it's easier to spot.
Also, I would like to see more colored balls because it's easier to identify which ball is mine. When I'm in a foursome and we all hit into a general area, I don't have to bend over and look closer to see which ball is mine.....I just look for the yellow ball in a cluster of 4 balls. I hope they come out with more colors.
I would love to see bright: green, pink and orange. I've seen Wilson's Orange Jack balls.
Also, colored balls are easier to track in the air under some dusk/dawn conditions.

Try finding a yellow ball in the fall where leaves are abundant. Natural color tees are also a bit harder to find after you knock it 5 feet in front of you on your tee shots. I am speaking from my previous experience with color balls and tees.

I use yellow balls in the spring and summer. When the leaves come down, I use white balls for contrast. In this case, white is easier to spot in a sea of yellow, red and brown.
It's all about contrast.
Of course...my white ball can go under a pile of leaves....but it really doesn't matter what color the ball is at that point, it's going to get lost.

I prefer the traditional color of white. If you would like to use color balls try putt-putt.
