    Backswing

Why try to go more than 3/4? Do what's comfortable for you... I've been working to shorten my backswing to level out my swing plane and stop casting the club and haven't sacrificed a measurable amoutn of distance by cutting down to a 3/4 backswing. Besides, what feels like 3/4 to us high handicappers is a full swing for a lot of better players.
