    Long Drive Drivers

Does anyone else beside me use a long drive driver. I have a Bang Mellow Yellow 9*. Harrison Pro 2.5 Pro shaft S-Flex with a Lamkin Dual Density Crossline jumbo grip. I think that these are just as good as the main companies. Please, someone out there use one of these!

If anyone out there is using a Cally 454 with a Harrison or Penley shaft then they are. It's rare to see a big name product doing well in long drive competitions but the 454 did well this year and last winning two events, one men's and one women's.

I've got a Makser AS440, Graf Pro Lite (X) at 48 inches that I unleash if I've got enough fairway width...not for the faint of heart!

I bought my Nephew a SMT 455 Big Bore. Brand new with an Assasin shaft it was $200 shipped....with a free SMT hat!

The club is as long as anything I've ever played, and it's an awesome looking club as well. Peoples' first reaction when you pull it out is always this way:

    "What's that? Nice looking club!"

"Wow! What did you say that cub was again?"

Then it always ends with this: "Is it legal?" [answer: yes in nearly every loft except the 4 and 5 degree]

Funny, how they NEVER ask that question until you thump one out there.

Notice how many Mizuno, Honma, Taylormade, Yonex, Cobra (Accushnet), and Bridgestone illegal drivers there are out their. Most people relate illegal driver to the Callaway ERC II, and the off-brands. Where in reality, the ones I listed are the biggest manufacturers of illegal clubs including many of the Taylormade R540's, 580's and R7's. You naughty, naught boy!
