Favorite sport - other than golf?
If you could devote an equal amount of time to another sport, which would it be?
Mine is kinda obvious
By the way - beer drinking doesn't count...I checked...
I can't wait for shore leave so I can get me som fukkin' poon-tang.

I actually do devote an equal or maybe more amount of time to baseball. I love the game and everything about it. Mets are my team. I play on the baseball team instead of Varsity golf, i'll be playing in a couple golf leagues though.

basketball here. I play on a few teams at my school (basketball, golf, skiing), im currently on the senior bball team (although i have barely even played half the season due to injury and bad play:P) our team finished the season 8-0, and were 2 wins away from goin to provincials. skiing im ranked #1 in our zone, and won 2 golds in the zone finals, and was top 20 skiers in actual ski racing a few years ago back in my hey-day. At this point in the year bball is gettin the best of my time, but i cant golf too much right now anyway with the weather we usually have here this time of year, but i guarantee, golf gets most of my overall time the whole year.

Did you ever get up to Marmot Basin for a run, Sandpiper...I used to like hiking up from The Knob and skiing in...fun hill, and not to crowded like the big ones.
BPC - Beer Pong - explain this new but very interesting sounding sport

I played Soccer my entire life, from the time I was 10 until the time I tore my calf muscle two weeks after starting Golf when I was 35. I gave up Soccer because I figured I was getting old and did not want to risk not being able to play Golf and enjoying myself because of injury. Spending 6 weeks on crutches was another factor. Had I not started with Golf, I am sure I would still be playing Soccer to this day.
One thing I like about Golf is that it is a more honest game. You cannot take a dive to gain an advantage, it is all a matter of skill and mental adversity.

i wish i could have gotten to marmot basin.... im usually at a small mountain called Hemlock, about 2 1/2 hours outside of vancouver. ill ski all the mountains in vancouver a fair amount, and i get up to whistler about 6-7 times a year.... ive skied most of the mountains in BC and i have to say Red Mountain is the best one by far that ive been to.

I never got down to any close to Vanvouver, but Marmot was my favorite out of everything out that way...leaving the powder and the hunting were the hardest parts about moving back east....now I get to ski ice pack on small hills (don't even ski anymore, I board on the hills here because it is more fun) and I have pretty much given up hunting althogether...thank God for hockey...and beer...

cross country mountain bike racing (and coaching)
In May, when my coaching duties are over, we'll sign up for anther series of Nike Learning golf classes.
I just bought a new Callaway Heavinswood 26* wood (graphite R) to fill the gap between my 15* 3-wood (230 yards) and 4-iron (180 yards)

I must admit, though I am a fan of all other sports (and play many of them when I have the opportunity), I have a special place in my heart for baseball. I play golf in the mornings, and baseball (well, softball, actually) in the evenings. Going back to when I was a kid, nothing is quite as perfect for me as playing baseball/softball in the late afternoon, with cold beer and brats on the grill waiting for me when we've finished (okay, that last part came after I was a kid).
I still love to do field sports, though, particularly fishing. Hunting is great, too, but has become rather stale in the last few years. But fishing is always great. I don't catch much more than bluegill, crappie, perch, or bass, and usually under the size limit, but it's still so relaxing to sit out on the lake. Next weekend, however, I'm going ice fishing in the northern part of Wisconsin for the annual "Pike Hunt." Should be a good time.

I play baseball and love football, but don't play on the team. I was gonna try to take up tennis again, but didn't this winter.

Yes, paintball does count as a sport.

I decided to get a job at Sea World. I thought it was too boring being in the tanks with the Killer Whales. I'm going to train Great White Sharks to do cute tricks like carrying me on their backs..........
