We've got a good regular group on this forum and I enjoy it. I thought it might be an interesting idea to put some digital pictures of the courses we play on here so others could view them.
I'll be taking some pictures of my course over the next few days and will share them with the group. I'd like to see your courses also as I have heard about many good ones....
I think in like 300 rounds over the past 5 years wirh Roscoe we have never taken a picture.
The other day he shows up and on the 14th hole says he has a new camera that takes pictures or digital movies. So I tell him "film this" and roll in a LONG birdie putt the first time we ever used a camera. Then each shot afterwards he would film and I could not miss. It was the ultimate golf aid.
Roscoe turns on camera and I hit great shot.
Wonder how he feels about giving up the game and becoming a full time videographer?\
Even I have to admit the Ghetto Muni looks pretty darn good in the picture. Funny how that works out.
I had two friends take me out golfing once in Canaan Valley WV resort course, really nice prim course. One dood carried my golf bag, and caddied for me, the other guy took pictures. My small entourage made a few people think I was some up and coming pro out on vacation or something. On the first tee, I thinned a 2 iron into the tall stuff not even making it to the fairway. The illusion was over...
But, it was one of the most fun and relaxed times I had playing.

Let's freeze one of those frames with you at the point of impact so we can analyze like Johnny Miller.....Roscoe - Freeze Frame of Monty please......
Our 19th looks a simple hole. The approach as you can see holds no fears for the low or high handicapper. It's a straight forward walk on a flat fairway, once there you'd hope to take no more than 2 to get down. But the longer you survey the area the more shots you take. I have been known to blow my whole days golf on this hole. Cheers (hic) Dave
It'd be nice if on the opposite end of that bar there was a small circular stage with a brass pole in the middle...
I wouldn't bother with golf! haha!
Hummmm, yep LBC I could see the merits in that. Emmm errrrr you didn't mention it but I'm sure your preference would be for a female "entertainer", or you got one of your golfing buddies that you'd like to play a round with
Here's Besson/Montagle walking up the left side of 15 after blasting a big drive at the ghetto.
I was scrolling down through these pics, saw this hole and stared at it for about three minutes. It's an absolute dead ringer for one on the muni here. So strange. Even the trees match.
But then when 440 was brought up, and 148 in, I knew this was different. The hole here is 315 yards. I've driven it a couple of times.
440 minus 148 = less than 315 ;)
(just kidding, M...)
