Difference between Launcher 460 and 460 TI ?

After some try, i wanted to buy the Cleveland Launcher 460.
I wend to proshop and they only sell the 460 TI.

What is the difference between these 2 club ?
Do they offer same performance, it is better or i should search another proshop ?

All of the Cleveland drivers are titanium. The three drivers are the Launcher 460, the Launcher Comp (titanium face and sole, carbon composite crown), and the new HiBore. I don't think there is any difference between a 460 and a 460 Ti. There IS a difference between the Launcher fairway woods. They have steel versions and the titanium version of those clubs. Perhaps that's where the confusion lies.
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

Yes there is a difference, and the 460 Ti is better. Basically the 460 Ti has moved 15% of the weight from the crown and put it lower in the club head to produce a higher launch angle with less spin, for greater overall distance. This link graphs the original 460 against the 460 Ti, hope this helps. Once you click on the link, click on "Trajectory"

Then I guess the 460 TI is just the latest version of the 460, then? The website has no mention of both the 460 and the 460 TI. I assume it is just a current model year tweak of the same club they've been selling for a few years then. My mistake; sorry.

Yes you are right, last year (2005) they changed the name to the 460 Ti and the original 460 launcher is no longer available.

One other difference that I know of is the stock Fuji shaft is definitely different in the newer TI. I've been told (but have no way of confirming) that the new Fuji shaft is a lot better than the older model. All I know is that I kill this thing!
