First Medal Competition

Fellow golfers,
the day has arrived, my first Medal competition ever. It is in stroke play format and is off of the Championship tee's an extra 500 yards over all. You are not allowed to use those tees apart from comps. so it will be very hard to keep up with the long guys, Hopefully the putter will be on form,

Easter hamper tomorrow. Thankfully I've hit a purple patch at the moment and am striking the ball unreal. For your medal, remember that the course plays long for everybody so net 72 always finishes top 5. Playing off 15, you should lay up to a sand wedge on the long par 4's where you have a shot because you will have a better chance of scoring better.

Well, the round is complete, mixed bag really. The driver was working well, which helped from the longer tee's, but i really only now realise, how short i hit the ball and how far people from other courses hit the ball. I am used to 380 yard par 4 holes, to play the same hole at 430 yards was so dramaticaly different! I am humbled to see people score well on these holes


TIME FOR LESSONS(again)


Every body playing 400+ par 4's, in par, now have my 100% respect, i never knew how tough golf could be OUT of your comfort zone
