Honma LB 606 irons
I just purchased a set of 3 STAR LB-606 Honma Cavity Back Forged Japan LB Irons based on what I have read regarding Honma irons. Can someone fill me in on how I should approach hitting these irons. I have been playing with Callaway X22's.

Must bow to the ball before taking stance and apologise to it and turf under it for the hurt you are about to inflict on it. Make sure backswing full and start downswing with left hip bump, inflict hurt on backside of ball before inflicting hurt on turf, continuing turn body reft and head steady to full finish with all weight on outside reft foot and Honma behind head.

Thanks, I had completely forgotten about my "reft" foot! Guess one has to also remember to only swing at 80% to avoid hitting the ball over the green.

How much did you pay for them? My approach with the LB-606 Honma Cavity Back Forged Japan LB irons would be much different than the Callaway Big Bertha X-22 irons with Uniflex shaft. When approaching the Callaway Big Bertha X-22 irons with Uniflex shaft you can get away with skulls, chops and double-farts. When approaching the LB-606 Honma Cavity Back Forged Japan LB irons you must hit them pure. The purer you life the purer you shall hit.

Sounds like you made a smart purchase. Based upon what I read from famousdavis, you will definitely need to hit them pure.
I also just read that you made a smart purchase.

Let me get this straight. You just bought some of the most expensive irons made, in cavity back form, you've never hit them and you don't know how?
Do I have that right? Come on, who is this?

Can't you read? It's gorjogolf.
That must be longest name for a set of irons.

Oh, I thought maybe he was an alias for Cargo Putter.
My issue had more to do with believing what I was reading than reading it.

Aren't Honma clubs imitations of Miura, but with cosmetics?
