    Tiger

I know that his dad just died, but I was wondering if anyone had any news on when he is planning on returning to the game of golf.

Tiger has guaranteed he'll be at the US Open on June 15-18. I don't see him coming back before that and he's suggested he won't be back before the Open. I personally can't wait to see him back in the field. It just isn't the same without him!!

personally, being from central ohio, would like to see him at the Memorial. I also read in Golf Digest that Earl's favorite tourney was the Memorial, so mabe he will come back and play for that reason, but he should take his time.

Unfortunately Earl was Tiger's friend as well as his dad so the pain Tiger is feeling must be immense. He's definitely out until at least the US Open

People deal with adversity and loss in different ways, none right or wrong. He'll come back when he feels like it or he might be "coached" as to what is perceived to be a proper (total speculation, I know nothing) mourning period.

Brett Favre played through, so has Clemens... I think you're making it up although you may be right.

Phil always does that. He skipped Memorial last year and struggled to make the cut at Pinehurst

Phil has NOT always done that. Phil was in fact ALWAYS one of the guys who never made special preparations for Majors until Tiger won 4 in a row......then he any many of the other top players changed their ways.
