    Couples and the Ryder-cup

i am a big Fred Couples fan so maybe i am wrong. but for having a bad back he seems awfuly good. but it seem like sometimes on Sunday he has had enough and his back just cant take any more. what do you think???

talking about him brought another question to mind. who will be the Ryder-cup captins choice??? if he dosent get get the vote (which i think he should) then Chris Dimarco should be next. both won huge matches and hit putts on the 18th to clinch their matches (Couples with VJ, and Dimarco with i think it was Appelby but i am not 100% positive about that). what would your choices be?

I like Freddie too, but I think he has a tendancy to choke lately. I watched him throw away the Memorial last year in person. It wasn't back-related because he hit some really nice shots, but choked on putting. His Sunday putting at the Masters wasn't exactly stellar either. He's a great guy, but I'm not sure he has the heart of a champion.
I like Scott Verplank and Jerry Kelly as picks. Dimarco will be lucky to keep his card this year.

yea its 6ft and in that kills him he could be one of the top 5 still if he could just putt. he's tried so many different things but eventually they seem to let him down.

I think Freddy is a great human being who loves the human race. He has done so much for the game of golf. I can't hit a fade without thinking about him. I actually met him at a Phoenix Suns game once and he signed my Titleist hat. I would love to see him play for the USA and watch him knock out Ian Poulter.

P.S. I would love to buy a 2006 Ryder Cup Collector's coin of steady Freddy.
