Great grip as long as it doesnt come into contact with water. One drop and its adios amigo. May as well be made of olive oil at that point.

He's touting the G8 AVI's. I play em' they've been fine so far. Lyle doesn't like them I believe due to slipping issues in the wet. I've had no problems with the AVI G8's in the rain yet. I've yet to feel a grip slip in the rain or sweat. They are spongier than the prior grips I played, tour wrap cords.
Feel fine and play fine to me.

Oppps, Lyle beat me to his explanation. I live in Oregon and some say it rains here~ I do not remove my glove during play, a lot of players only drive with them, some take them off for chipping and putting. I leave mine on except for chowing down food at the turn. Maybe that's when he experiences slippage during irons shots sans glove? Not sure I can just say with the new ones I haven't had a single sip yet.
And no I don't strangle the chicken while holding a club =)
