SMT for Slower Swings
I am not sure if I should consider SMT. My swing speed is about 85 MPH. I fight with the slice. I read some place that the head groves help the ball come back to the center of the fairway. I am thinking about 12 degrees. I just get the feeling you have to swing fast with their heads. Any thoughts? Ron

There are quite a few people that play SMT that have a "slower" swingspeed. I think that is one of the reasons that SMT have started producing some higher lofted clubheads. I would go the the SMT website at the very least and read about the dynamics of every head. If you can try them, even better as that could save you some money in the long run. As with any component head, shaft selection is extremely important.

I have a 10 deg Nemesis with a stiff shaft...I swing 90 - 95...I hit it okay but it may be
too much shaft for me...I need a softer shaft...actually, the Nem has no grooves on
the head...thus minimizing side and back spin...my suggestion is that you could use
and SMT product but consider a higher loft (12 is fine) and be careful with the shaft flex...that is the key...incidentally, it is a beautiful head and I have the Accuflex
Extreme 2 shaft in "stiff"...
